Why do you want to buy a Xiaomi notebook?

first of all, I used a 13-inch alien notebook and a 13-year-old 15-inch mac book pro before buying Xiaomi notebook. Apple didn't have to say that it has been as smooth as ever for so many years, and now it will still do video editing or music work on the mac. However, due to the closedness of the mac system, many softwares don't have the mac version (and many softwares don't have the cracked version of the mac version, especially for ntfs hard disks). Because of the different keyboard structures, the shortcut keys in some used softwares will always be pressed wrong or awkward. For example, C4D/blender requires shortcuts such as alt/CTRL. Of course, there is definitely no problem with mac performance, but when using this kind of software, I am used to operating on the standard keyboard of win system. Then talk about aliens, which gives me the feeling that the performance is really not good in the computer of win system. For a while, I used ta to calculate special effects, and the speed was not lost to my old desktop computer. The only drawback is that it is too heavy. I decided to buy a 13-inch computer just to take it out, but after a period of time, I found that ta is not suitable for taking it out. A 13-inch computer is bigger than a 15-inch mac, and its thickness is almost twice that of a mac. So gradually connected to the monitor and mechanical keyboard, ta became my best desktop.

the initial appeal is a notebook that can be carried around with light weight and good performance. Of course, the budget is not high, and the price can be as low as it meets the requirements. In my mind, I used to rank the brands of notebooks (running win system). Because I have used dell and ThinkPad before, I have a good impression on these two brands. When I looked around, I found that only xps series and ThinkPad x1 met my requirements, both of which cost around 1, yuan, which was seriously beyond my budget. So I usually surf the Internet, write word and run simple 3D software to do some simple work. When I was idle, I turned over my millet and accidentally found that Xiaomi also bought a notebook, and then naturally I found this millet air13-inch notebook. The weight and size fully meet my requirements, and the configuration is reasonable. Although the price is 6 thousand, it is still a little high, but it is also within the acceptable range. After a short thought, I decided to start with a 13-inch millet notebook.

the temperature has dropped in Beijing these days, and it is MINUS ten degrees every night. The logistics in Xiaomi pipe network is as fast as ever. I was really worried when I unpacked the courier and took out my notebook in the morning. It felt too cold. The metal shell with the same texture as apple is said to be not as thick as apple, which, of course, meets my weight requirements. There is no logo on the back, and there is no curved design like Apple's. It is just a straight line, and it looks like an iron plate (weighing scale without a display screen). In any case, the appearance is ok, and it is very light, and it feels a little heavier than the ipad (standard). Touchpad Because I have used Apple's products, I have no hope for the touchpads of all win notebooks. As expected, I have a lot of personal misoperation, which can only be used to browse the web. Otherwise, the mouse is still a must. The fingerprint function is just the icing on the cake, so we don't pick whether he adds morning glory or peony, and the recognition rate is not too high. A little bit off the side suggests that he can't recognize it. Presumably, it has something to do with his shape. The horizontal band recognition area is definitely not as clear as the square recognition area of the new macbook.

The keyboard gave me a great surprise. The feeling of this keyboard reminded me of my old apple, with good keystrokes, sounds and arrangement sizes (except, of course, the top row from esc to delete). It is comfortable to type. Unlike the keyboard of the new Apple notebook, I don't feel crunching on a piece of rubber cloth, and there is no fun and pleasure in typing. For typing, the first is the feedback from the keyboard to the fingertips.

The problem after booting, when the cpu is overclocked, you can hear the sound of current. Many people have this problem on the Internet, and it is obvious that the solution is to limit the processor power to 88%. Since then, there has never been any current noise. Of course, I haven't felt much about the impact on performance, because I didn't need this notebook to have excellent performance, so it will be ok if it runs smoothly.

The notebook has been used for more than a month, and it has become my main office book, basically surfing the Internet, typing, and a small amount of ps and blender as models. Surprisingly, you can use davinci to edit high-definition video, although it will be slightly delayed and the rendering time will be longer (no contrast, it feels longer). Of course, I think it's more because blackmagic is optimized.

The notebook, first of all, is what you want to do with it. Some of my photographer friends, their notebooks are used to repair films, and their performance is what they pursue. More people actually need a notebook that can work smoothly and is not cumbersome.
