How to get to Gouqi Island from Shanghai?

Dog Island is located in the East China Sea of China, near Shanghai and Hangzhou. This is a magical and unique island. Known as the Potala Palace on the Sea, it has high visibility and appreciation. The island's natural landscape, humanities and entertainment projects are all top in the world, and the accommodation environment is also first-class. Let's introduce it in detail below.

Brief introduction of Gouqi Island

Here is the blue ocean, here is the "Little Greece in the East", here is the Potala Palace on the sea, and here is Gouqi Island, next to Shengshan Island, so it is named after all the Lycium barbarum shrubs on the island. Now, the houses on the island are stacked on top of each other and look like they are embedded in a cliff, so they are called "Potala Palace on the Sea" by photographers.

Located in Zhoushan, the archipelago is divided into two islands-Dog Ridge Island and Shengshan Island, which are connected by the Triangle River Bridge. It is recommended to visit for 3-4 days, including the journey.

Traffic guide

Starting from Hangzhou and Shanghai

The basic route is as follows: nanpu bridge-Shenjiawan Wharf-Gouqi Island Wharf.

1. Take the subway from Shanghai to nanpu bridge 1 exit, get off the subway to the passenger station window, and buy a train ticket to Gouqi Island directly. (Take an hour or so by bus to Shenyang Bay Pier in Xiaoyangshan, and then take a boat to Gouqi Island)

2. Buy a transit ticket to Shengsi Islands, and then buy a ticket to Gouqi Island from Shengsi Islands. You can usually buy it, but it will take a long time.

Dawangtan: The holy place for taking photos, the largest beach on Lycium Island, with clear water and fine sand, and colorful roadside fences make the photos beautiful.

East Cliff Cliff: At the easternmost tip of Gouqi Island, it stretches for thousands of meters. Whenever the sun rises, it is the first ray of sunshine in the east.

Pasture view: The wonders of mountains and seas are the highest viewing platform on Lycium Island, and it is also a well-deserved "sea pasture", which is a sea field sown and harvested by local people.

Sea fishing: The most important thing to miss on the island is sea fishing. In the fishing season, rent a boat to go fishing with Jiang Taigong.

B&B suggestion

My homestay is called Dengfeng. This is the most beautiful sea view hotel on the island. Most of the houses here are built facing the sea, and you can see the sea with the windows open.

BB is divided into quiet downtown areas. You can sit outside the bar and listen to songs and watch singers perform. There are open-air bars, endless swimming pools and sea view cafes, and staying for a day will not be boring.

White House, infinity pool, open-air bar, 270-degree sea view big bed room.

When the sun goes down, I lie in bed, watch the sun go down and count the twinkling stars. It's really talented. I live in the Potala Palace at sea.
