How to set Sony rx 100 to shoot the scenery like Panasonic LX5?

I don't know what you said about the landscape effect of LX5. I guess it may be the kind with rich colors.

Quick method: enter the in-machine menu and increase the saturation. The higher the saturation, the stronger the color. If the taste is heavy, the contrast and sharpness can be further increased. The photos taken in this way must be very different from before.

The above method belongs to the side door, and you can always use it like this if you like. But if you really want to take a good photo, you should at least know the following points (please adjust the above parameters first):

Perfect timing. There are two best time periods in a day to shoot scenery: one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunrise and half an hour before and after sunset. The light in these two periods is very soft, but only if it is sunny or cloudy that day.

Tripod. The tripod can make the camera shrink to the best aperture, and use the slow shutter to finely depict the light on the photosensitive element, thus improving the quality of the photo.

Manual exposure: use M-level manual exposure, set the aperture to f5.6 or f8 or f 1 1, and adjust the ISO value to the lowest. First, set the shutter to 1 or 2 seconds, and shoot once. Shorten the shutter time if the photo is too bright, and lengthen the shutter time if it is too dark (for example, 3 seconds, 4 seconds, 5 seconds).

Take pictures in RAW format. RAW records more details than JPEG, and the space for later adjustment is more free. Of course, the premise is that you have to be interested in the later digital darkroom.

RX 100 is much larger than LX5, and theoretically it should not be worse than it.
