Slow door

The slow door is a device for long-time exposure (1 sec or more) on the camera. Mainly used for shooting night scenes, scenery, water flow and other long-term exposure. There are two kinds of doors, B and T, with different operation modes before and after.

Extending the shutter to get a long exposure is not a short moment, but a picture effect.

At first, because of the limitation of aperture and sensitivity, the exposure was insufficient. Use long exposure to ensure adequate exposure. Later, it was found that the effect of light painting, car trace and softening water surface appeared in the traffic flow.

Shooting the slow door effect requires a wireless shutter (reducing camera vibration), and then turn off the automatic anti-shake function. Remember to bring your tripod and important filters, and use different filters according to different subjects.

Aperture is not recommended to be larger than F 16, otherwise the picture definition will be reduced; Photosensitivity should be minimized without losing normal exposure; The shutter is based on the brightness level of the picture.
