What ports are there in the Pearl River Delta?
Guangzhou Port is one of the fastest growing coastal ports in China in 2008. Affected by the slowdown of global economic growth, the appreciation of RMB and the industrial adjustment of China's foreign trade policy, the foreign trade container of China Port suffered a cold wave, but the foreign trade container transportation of Guangzhou Port stood out. In 2008, the biggest highlight of Guangzhou Port was the transformation from feeder port to trunk container port, and the modern and efficient port built a nest to attract phoenix and accelerated the transfer of international logistics industry. Container throughput broke through100000 TEU, and broke into the ranks of the top ten container ports in the world, ranking seventh in the world. On May 5th, 2008, Guangzhou Port Group won the National May 1st Labor Award, which is the only enterprise in Guangzhou that won this honor. 1. Guangzhou Port has entered the top ten container ports in the world. In 2008, the cargo throughput of Guangzhou Port reached 347 million tons, and the container throughput exceeded1100000 containers, up by 18.8% year-on-year. After Shanghai and Shenzhen, it became the third container port in the mainland to break through 10 million containers and enter the top ten container ports in the world. In the first quarter of 2008, the container foreign trade of Guangzhou Port increased by 54%. Guangzhou Port started container transportation from 1978, which was one of the first three ports in China at that time. At that time, container transportation mainly relied on general cargo liners. The container throughput of 1978 in China was only10.8 million TEUs, while Guangzhou Port accounted for 0.3 million TEUs. The container throughput of Guangzhou Port reached 1 TEU in 2 1 year, 2 million TEU in 3 years, 4 million TEU in 3 years, and 1 TEU in 3 years, every 3 years. In particular, Nansha Port has only been open for more than three years, and its annual container throughput has exceeded 6 million TEUs, second only to Shanghai Yangshan Port, which has been open for three years, and its annual throughput has reached 8.22 million TEUs.
(2) Shenzhen Port
1. The throughput of Shenzhen Port has set the best record for this port. Affected by the global financial crisis, Shenzhen Port, which is mainly engaged in re-export of foreign trade, has undergone a severe test. In 2008, the cargo throughput of Shenzhen Port was 21154,200 tons, up 6.0 1% year-on-year, of which the foreign trade cargo throughput was16199,860 tons, up 6.06% year-on-year. Container throughput was 2 1, 4 1, 620 TEUs, up by 1.50%, and the growth rate was 12.76 percentage points lower than that of the previous year. The development of each port area is unbalanced. Among the three major ports, only China Merchants Shekou Port has a slight increase in container volume, because the port area actively expands the Asian market, and the routes between the United States and Europe are relatively evenly distributed, while Yantian International and Chiwan Port Airlines occupy a large share of the routes between the United States and Europe and are greatly affected by the financial crisis. According to statistics, China Merchants Shekou Port Area, Chiwan Port Airlines and Yantian International Terminal completed 56910.5 million TEUs, 5910.26 million TEUs and 9,683,500 TEUs respectively, with year-on-year growth of 13.5438+05% and-1%. Dachanwan Modern Port was put into operation in June+February, 5438, and 85,900 TEUs were completed. Domestic container business grew steadily, with the domestic container throughput of 969,000 TEUs, up by 6. 18% year-on-year, of which China Merchants Port completed 920,000 TEUs and Yantian International completed 49,000 TEUs. The number of imported heavy containers and international transit containers has increased significantly. Completed 1 382.5 1 0,000 TEUs in Hong Kong, including 3466.5438+0,200 TEUs imported, up by 12.99%, and exported 1 036,380 TEUs. The number of empty containers is 75910.2 million TEUs, and the proportion of empty containers is 35.45%. The volume of international transit containers is about 3,965,438+250,000 TEUs, accounting for 18.27% of the total port container throughput, which is 5.22 percentage points higher than that in 2007.
2. The overall planning of Shenzhen Port has passed the examination of the municipal government. On October 9th, 2008/KLOC-0, the executive meeting of Shenzhen Municipal Government deliberated and passed the Master Plan of Shenzhen Port in principle. The newly planned coastline of Shenzhen Port is 66.9 kilometers long, which is twice as long as the current coastline. The new planning repositions the function and layout of the port, which will form an overall pattern of "two wings", "six zones" and "three masters". "Two wings" refers to the eastern and western port groups; "Six Districts" refer to Yantian and Longgang Port in the east, Nanshan, Dachan Bay, Dachan Island and Baoan Port in the west; "Three owners" refer to Yantian, Nanshan and Dachanwan, which are mainly container transportation, reflecting the core competitiveness of Shenzhen Port. 3. Before Shenzhen Bay Bonded Port Area is approved by the State Council. On June 10, 2008, the State Council officially approved the establishment of Shenzhen Qianwan Bonded Port Area. The planned area of bonded port area is 3.7 1 km2. The establishment of the Bonded Port Area will play an important role in the sustained, rapid and healthy development of Shenzhen Port, and it is of great strategic significance to speed up the construction of Hong Kong's modern international shipping center and logistics center, promote industrial cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, and realize the sustainable development of regional economy. 4. The infrastructure of Shenzhen Port has been further improved. In June 2008, No.3 berth of Dachanwan Container Terminal (Phase I) was completed and put into trial operation. Shenzhen Customs and Shenzhen Dachanwan Wharf (Phase I) signed the Memorandum of Cooperation on Promoting the Development of Dachanwan Port Area, and Shenzhen Customs will open port clearance, land transfer and other regulatory services in Dachanwan Port Area, which indicates that Dachanwan Wharf has officially launched all-round business for the whole world. The preparatory group of Dachanwan Customs has entered the terminal office, and has carried out all container business such as empty containers, heavy containers and import and export transshipment. Dachanwan Port Area will be built into an important port area in the west of Shenzhen in the next 35 years, becoming another world-class container terminal distribution center in Shenzhen.
(3) Shantou Port
In 2008, Shantou's GDP reached 99.2 billion yuan, an increase of 9%; The total import and export volume of foreign trade was US$ 46.84 billion, up by 17.5%. Port cargo throughput is 27.6 million tons, including 3.32 million tons of foreign trade and 720,000 tons of container throughput. The advantage of Shantou lies in the port. It is one of the fundamental goals to build Shantou Port with high standards and build a modern 100-million-ton port along the southeast coast. Shantou Port is one of the 25 major coastal ports in China and one of the five major ports under construction. It has always been a maritime gateway to eastern Guangdong, southwestern Fujian and southeastern Jiangxi. According to the construction plan of Shantou Port, the coastline of Shantou Port is 330 kilometers long, and the coastline of reserved ports and ports is 58.8 kilometers long. Nine port areas will be built. These include: Old Port Area, Zhu Chi Port Area, Guang 'ao Port Area, Di 'nei Port Area, Haimen Port Area, Tianxin Port Area, Nan 'ao Port Area and Rongjiang Port Area. The planned development throughput of the whole territory 10 is about 350 million tons, and the container capacity180,000 TEUs. Focusing on Shantou's development strategy of building a modern 100-million-ton port, two 50,000-ton wharf berths and 50,000-ton waterway projects in Guangzhou and Macao were completed at the end of 2008. The 50,000-ton petrochemical wharf and two container berths with a tonnage of over 6,543,800 tons in Guang 'ao Port Area are under construction and are scheduled to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2009. The third is to complete the preliminary work of the 300,000-ton crude oil terminal and the west breakwater project, and strive to be included in the national "Eleventh Five-Year Plan". While speeding up the construction of the above projects, other port projects will be promoted, including the completion of the preliminary work of the 300,000-ton crude oil terminal; Promote the construction of the 6,543,800+500,000-ton coal terminal of Huaneng Haimen Power Plant; Construction of the 70,000-ton coal terminal of Shengfeng Haimen Power Plant and the second phase of Mashan Port Coal Terminal. Shantou Port will build1150,000-ton petrochemical terminal, two 50,000-ton container terminals and150,000-ton Haimen Power Plant coal terminal in Guang 'ao Port area 201year ago. The cargo throughput will reach 50 million tons, and the annual container throughput will reach 6.5438+400,000 TEUs. 20 16 years ago, major projects such as 300,000-ton crude oil terminal, 6,543.8+10,000-ton LNG terminal and eastern Guangdong coal transfer base will be built in Guang 'ao Port Area, with an annual throughput of about 65.438+100 million tons and container throughput exceeding 6,543.8+04,000 TEUs. The long-term planned capacity of Guang 'ao Port Area can reach 250 million tons of goods,160,000 TEUs. The continuous improvement of port facilities will strengthen Shantou Port's position as a regional shipping center and promote the rapid development of petrochemical, energy and port-facing industries.
(4) Zhuhai Port
In 2008, Zhuhai's GDP reached 99.2 billion yuan, an increase of 9%; The total import and export volume of foreign trade was US$ 46.84 billion, up by 17.5%, and the growth rate of exports and imports ranked second in the Pearl River Delta. The amount of actually utilized foreign capital was $65,438+010.40 billion, up1/0.0% year-on-year. The port cargo throughput is 40.084 million tons, including foreign trade throughput12.905 million tons and container throughput of 654,000 tons. From June 2008 +2008 10, Zhuhai Gaolan Port's 50,000-ton container terminal was put into trial operation, which opened the door of Zhuhai container transportation to the world. As a port city in the Pearl River Delta, Zhuhai's port is a vital advantage resource. There are 8 port areas such as Gaolan, Jiuzhou and Doumen, and 96 berths have been built, including berths of over 10,000 tons 10, with a long-term berthing capacity of 300,000 tons. In recent years, due to the "attack" of Pearl River Delta ports such as Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Zhanjiang, the development of Zhuhai Port is relatively backward and its positioning is unknown. In this regard, Zhuhai first mentioned "setting up a city with Hong Kong" in the work report of the municipal government in 2008. This is the first time that Zhuhai Special Economic Zone has raised the development of port economy to the height of "setting up a city" since its establishment 28 years ago. Zhuhai Municipal Government clearly put forward the goal of accelerating port construction and port development: after three to five years of development, the port throughput will reach more than 654.38 billion tons, the container throughput will reach 3 million to 5 million TEUs, and the total industrial output value of Gaolan Port Economic Zone will reach 654.38+00 billion to 654.38+05 billion yuan; After 8 to 10 years of efforts, the national coastal hub port will be completed. The port will take the road of differentiated operation, vigorously develop dry bulk terminals, and strive to become the main dry bulk distribution center in South China within three to five years.
(5) Huizhou Port
Huizhou Port International Container Terminal started construction at the end of 2008, which is the first large-scale specialized container terminal in the port. It is expected to be completed and put into use in 20 10. Huizhou Port International Container Terminal Project is located in Tsuen Wan Port Area of Huizhou Port. The construction scale is two 50,000-ton container berths and 1 3000-ton container berths (hydraulic structures are designed according to 65,438+10,000 tons). The total length of the coastline is 800 meters, with an area of about 600,000 square meters, and the designed annual throughput capacity is 6.5438+200,000 TEUs. The total investment of the project is about 2 billion yuan. Upon completion, it will not only completely change the current situation that Huizhou Port has no specialized and modern container berth, but also become an important extension and powerful supplement to the container port group in the eastern Pearl River Delta, so that Huizhou Port has a strong container transportation capacity, which is of great significance for enhancing the competitiveness of Huizhou Port, enhancing its strategic position and promoting Huizhou's economic and social development. The construction of Huizhou Port International Container Terminal is just the beginning. The next step is to introduce international energy giants, shipping giants and terminal operation giants to invest in the construction of Huizhou Port. It will take five to 10 years to build Huizhou Port into a "big aircraft carrier" integrating freight, logistics and energy, with an annual throughput of over 100 million tons and an output value of over 10 billion yuan. Focusing on the goal of this billion-ton port, Huizhou Port has recently launched a series of construction projects. In addition to the container terminal, the Nanhai Petrochemical Refinery Terminal Project of CNOOC Guangdong Huizhou Port has started, including 1 300,000-ton crude oil loading berth and 4 5,000-ton refined oil berths. The total investment of the project is 65.438+63 billion yuan. The main purpose of construction is to meet the production needs of petrochemical enterprises in the Pearl River Delta region and meet the requirements of large crude oil carriers. At the same time, Huizhou Port Coal Terminal Project is also scheduled to start in 2009. The project is located on the west side of Chunzhou Island in Tsuen Wan Port Area of Huizhou Port. The construction scale is three 70,000-ton coal wharf berths with a coastline of 900 meters. The project will be built in two phases, in which two berths of 70,000 tons will be built in the first phase, with a total investment of 2.8 billion yuan and a designed annual coal unloading capacity of 6.5438+0.45 million tons. This project is a large-scale professional coal wharf facing the whole society. Based on Huizhou, we will build a coal distribution, storage, transportation and distribution base that radiates to eastern Guangdong and Hunan and Jiangxi provinces, and provide reliable energy supply for the development of Huizhou and its surrounding areas.
(6) Humen Port
In 2008, Humen Port in Dongguan started production, and the barge from Dongguan to Hong Kong has started operation. The terminal will also open offshore routes, and will also open routes to the United States, India, the Mediterranean, Africa and Southeast Asia in the future. In 2007, the container output in Dongguan reached 7.3 million TEUs, and the import and export of goods have been passing through neighboring ports such as Shenzhen and Hong Kong. If you import and export through Humen Port, it will take some time to get used to it. The terminal is letting enterprises experience the customs clearance environment of the terminal through barge service. Whether a container is imported or exported through Hongkong Port or Humen Port, the logistics cost difference between them is about 1500 yuan. And if the enterprise is in Shatian or Humen, the cost saved will reach 2000 yuan. Dongguan is the main place for trade with Taiwan. The total number of Taiwan-funded enterprises accounts for about 1/3 of the whole province and110 of the mainland. By the end of 2008, the annual trade container with Taiwan Province was about 1 10,000 TEU. Dongguan has been listed as one of the direct ports across the Taiwan Strait, and it is very likely that these containers will be boarded directly from Dongguan in the future. In the new round of development in the Pearl River Delta, Dongguan has been repositioned as an emerging logistics city in the Pearl River Delta. Humen Port will be distinguished from the surrounding ports by five characteristics: comprehensive function, integration, modernization, system innovation and differentiation, and a modern comprehensive logistics demonstration base will be established. Humen Port will be a complete port for containers, groceries, petrochemicals, ro-ro cars and coal. It will develop modern service industries such as global procurement, entrepot trade, international distribution, e-commerce, service outsourcing, financial insurance and port services, and become an important carrier of Dongguan's modern logistics industry. Fully introduce the concept of supply chain management, rely on Dongguan's developed economy, do a good job in supporting Dongguan's manufacturing services, strengthen cooperation and complementarity with towns, streets and enterprises, realize the integration and integrated development of the industrial chain, and make Humen Port an important node and configuration hub of Dongguan's industrial supply chain. At the same time, advanced information technology and RFID technology will be used to build an efficient logistics management network. The basic objectives of Humen Port Modern Integrated Logistics Demonstration Base are: by 20 10, six deep-water container berths will be built, with a container throughput of about10.5 million TEUs; The deep-water wharf in Mayong operation area will be fully completed and put into operation. By then, the throughput of bulk goods such as coal and grain will exceed 30 million tons. The throughput of petrochemical products has reached190,000 tons, and the port road traffic network in the central area has been improved, with complete pipe network and outstanding business functions. The impact of Humen Port on Shenzhen Port will not be obvious in the near future, but after a period of time, especially with the background of PSA International Port Group, the direction of some goods in Dongguan will be gradually adjusted, and the impact on Shenzhen Port will gradually appear.
(7) Chaozhou Port
In recent years, Chaozhou's port strategy will make great progress. The Entrance Avenue and the Asia-Pacific General Wharf, which will start construction in early 2009, are two key projects in the construction of Chaozhou Port, and they are also basic projects. The total length of the service road 13 kilometers is designed as a two-way six-lane first-class highway with an estimated investment of 490 million yuan. Two berths of 50,000-ton and 30,000-ton are planned to be built in the first phase of the Asia-Pacific General Wharf Project, and the hydraulic foundation design and construction are 6.5438+10,000-ton and 50,000-ton, with an estimated investment of about 800 million yuan. The construction of the Port Entrance Avenue and the Asia-Pacific General Wharf is of great significance for expanding the throughput of Chaozhou Port, improving its external influence and promoting the economic development of Chaozhou. In order to give full play to the advantages of the port, Chaozhou plans to integrate and increase two other industrial parks, including Chaozhou Port Economic Development Zone, on the basis of Shenzhen Nanshan (Chaozhou) Industrial Transfer Industrial Park, and set up Shenzhen (Chaozhou) Industrial Transfer Industrial Park, forming a pattern of "one park and three districts", and is committed to building it into a provincial-level demonstration industrial transfer industrial park with large scale, good benefits, strong driving force and wide radiation in eastern Guangdong. Chaozhou Port is first-class in all aspects of the economic belt on the west side of the Taiwan Strait, with good shelter conditions, with Nan 'ao Island as the barrier in the south and Dongshan Island in the east. The average annual operation time in the port area can reach more than 335 days. At the same time, the water depth conditions are also excellent, and there are few large-tonnage wharf construction, harbor basin excavation and channel tidal flat dredging. In addition, the coastline is stable, far away from big rivers, and the coastal geography belongs to granite structure, and the seawater is clear all the year round. At present, Chaozhou Port is still in the early stage of development, and there are still virgin land with a depth of more than 5 to 10 km, about 100 square km. Rich in land resources, it can provide sufficient land to undertake industrial transfer.
