What kind of SLR is suitable for shooting basketball?

Basketball shooting is not much different from other sports. The basic requirements are good focusing, high sensitivity, small time lag and high continuous shooting speed. Simply put, it is a speed machine.

Generally speaking, Nikon and Canon have similar sports machines:

High-end models: new Nikon D5, Canon's 1DX mark2, earlier Nikon D4s, Canon's 1DX, proper flagship.

Mid-range models: Nikon D750, Canon 5D mark 3, which can be used in daily competitions.

Low-end models: Nikon D500, Canon 7D mark 2, not bad.

Specific to basketball, it may involve indoor shooting, the distance is relatively close, and a good flash is needed.

For lenses, 24-70/2.8, 70-200/2.8 are all used, and generally wide angle is not needed.
