Why does the skin on postpartum face become very black?

1. Pigment deposition

During pregnancy, mommy's endocrine will change, progesterone will fluctuate greatly, the skin will become very sensitive and the resistance will decrease. Estrogen and progesterone can cause pigmentation and long spots, and there will be obvious color deepening, that is, blackening, in skin wrinkles, such as neck, armpit, vulva and groin.

2. Slow metabolism

Every mother seems to have experienced an arduous war after giving birth. All the functions of the body need time to recover slowly. Because mommy's metabolism will be slow after delivery, toxins in the body can't be eliminated smoothly, such as melanin deposition on the stomach, which will last for a while.

3. Lack of sleep

Postpartum mommy is very weak and easily tired. But still insist on breastfeeding and taking care of the baby. Mothers all have this experience. Since having a baby, it is always easy to wake up at night, for fear of missing the baby's movements. Long-term lack of sleep can also make the skin dark yellow.
