What is it like to run and ride with high resistance?

When running or cycling at high altitudes, you are more likely to suffer from altitude sickness, fatigue, and slow recovery of physical strength. This is the most profound experience.

For example, on July 30, 2017, my husband and I walked five kilometers from Luorong Cattle Farm (4180 meters above sea level) in Daocheng Yading Scenic Area to Milk Sea (4600 meters above sea level), and then walked further 500 meters to reach the Five Color Sea (elevation 4700 meters). After returning to Luorong Niu Farm, we chose to jog 6.5 kilometers all the way to Chonggu Temple (elevation 3900 meters) to catch the last sightseeing tour in order to see the scenery along the way instead of taking a battery car. We drove to Yading Village (3700 to 3900 meters above sea level) for accommodation, so the total distance of our hiking was about 18 kilometers. At that time, I slept soundly for 10 hours and had no energy to get up and watch the stars at night.

In mid-June 2017, my husband and I hiked more than ten kilometers from Mizoguchi at an altitude of 3,300 meters to the snowy mountain pass at an altitude of 4,800 meters. The round trip took 7 hours, but neither of us had altitude sickness.

On May 13, 2018, when my husband and I were traveling by car to Hongyuan County (the county seat is at an altitude of 3,500 meters), we impromptuly climbed Shexue Mountain (the birthplace of Baihe River, to an altitude of 4,500 to 4,600 meters) in the morning. , I drove 430 kilometers home in the afternoon (80 kilometers of which were highways, and the rest were mostly mountainous roads)
