The first sharping (The Shining)

Watching horror movies, the more you watch, the less you feel horrible. Even the classic horror film The Exorcist will be numb and never be afraid again. But there are exceptions to everything, and the more you look at it, the more horrible it is.

The Shining is Kubrick's classic work. Stephen King once criticized Kubrick for not knowing what a horror film is, but Kubrick handled it very well. He knows how to use fragments of daily life or extremely ordinary things to create a horrible atmosphere. His clever use of the shape of the room is doubtful. There seems to be something on the ceiling, there seems to be a monster eating people in the corridor, and the long corridor is very scary. The brief and flashing killing scene is completely bloodless but creepy.

His shooting technique is also one of the reasons for successfully scaring the audience. He used the depth-of-field lens, the latest camera stabilizer and accelerated editing to make the audience afraid to look at the atmosphere.

In addition to the shooting technique, the actor's acting skills also contributed. Sally Hua Du plays a frightened housewife trapped in a hotel with Danny, and her acting skills are superb.
