What kind of lens is the objective lens?

The objective lens is also called a neutral lens.

Objective lens, also known as neutral lens, is the most common shooting angle in TV programs. It does not represent the scenery from the perspective of "people in the play", but directly simulates the vision of the photographer or audience, and describes the activities of the characters and the development of the plot purely and objectively from the perspective of onlookers.

When using the objective lens, it is necessary to ensure that the photographer can't look directly at the camera lens, otherwise it will easily destroy the audience's sense of "outsider" when watching (such counterexamples can refer to the perspective of news programs).

This kind of lens viewpoint generally has no obvious director's subjective color, and does not adopt the viewpoint of the characters in the play, but adopts the viewpoint of ordinary people to see things, so it is called "objective lens".

It shows things to the audience as objectively as possible, more similar to a parallel angle. Its language function lies in narration, statement and objective narration.

Introduction to photographic terms

1, subjective shot

Subjective shot refers to the shot when the viewpoint of the shot represents the subjective psychological angle of the subject and expresses the views of the parties or characters in the play. When shooting a picture, try to integrate the audience's line of sight with the characters' line of sight, so that they can empathize with the situation and experience of the characters being photographed.

This kind of lens has strong subjective and emotional color, and also has strong performance value. Subjective shots are always produced in the performance of objective shots. Without objective lens to describe the scene, subjective lens is not so real, vivid and touching.

2. Synchronization of sound and image

In other words, the synchronization of sound and picture means that the dialogue, songs, sounds and pictures in film and television works are consistent, and the sound (including dubbing) is synchronized with the image of the picture.
