Chifeng is rich in tourism resources, including grasslands, forests, mountain peaks, deserts, lakes, hot springs, ice and snow, stone forests, rare animals and plants, Mongolian customs and cultural relics, and is known as "the epitome of Inner Mongolia". In 2008, Chifeng was awarded the title of "China Excellent Tourist City".

The brand of Miss World Tourism Culture Competition entered Chifeng, which attracted great attention from local governments, departments and enterprises. In 20 13, with the approval of China District, Chifeng Division was officially promoted to China Direct Election Division, and the champion went straight to China Finals. Yongye Plaza, the exclusive title of Miss World Tourism Culture in Chifeng, was developed by Chifeng Yongye Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. with an investment of 2.2 billion yuan, with a total construction area of 380,000 square meters. When completed, it will become the first large-scale urban complex in Chifeng. As a model of China's advanced urban complex, the project is planned and constructed in an international leading mode, including five major urban functions, such as shopping center, residence, office building, apartment and hotel. It is a leading new commercial center in Chifeng. The Miss World Tourism Culture Competition held in Yongye Square will be jointly organized by the organizers, co-organizers and operating agencies to create an annual tourism culture festival and build a platform for the world to know about Chifeng.
