Please ask an experienced photographer to analyze and compare the tolerance of film machine and digital camera.

Film is more tolerant than digital, but both film machines and digital machines are more tolerant of bright places than dark places. For example, the film can tolerate 5 light ratios in bright places, and only 2 in dark places, a total of 7 before and after. So when you measure light, you'd better turn down the aperture by one or two, so you can shoot more details of dark compensation. Because the lamp has five light ratios, which is enough, you can leave it alone for the time being.

The digital tolerance is the same as this, but the tolerance is smaller, less than 7 steps.

Reverse films are just the opposite, that is, they are more tolerant of darkness.

As for the top film machine you mentioned, compared with the top digital cameras, it may be that the film machine is more tolerant, or it may be that with the development of science and technology, digital cameras can surpass film. I don't quite understand this ~ ~ ~
