Did Kunming Minzu Village buy tickets last night? how much is it?
First, Kunming Ridge "Ethnic Village"
The "Ethnic Village" in Kunming Ridge is located on the lakeside of Dianchi Lake in Kunming, close to Dianchi Lake and Xishan Mountain, with beautiful scenery and shady trees. The famous Haitang National Football Training Base is also adjacent to it. There, you can see the spectacular scenery of "500-mile Dianchi Lake rushing under your eyes", as well as the beautiful scenery of "Xishan Longmen" and "Sleeping Beauty".
The annual Torch Festival will be held in Yunnan Ethnic Village. The park will organically combine the celebration of Beijing's successful bid for the Olympic Games with traditional bullfighting, torch lighting, Ashi jumping on the moon and other activities, and launch a series of participatory carnival activities such as "lighting the torch and embracing the Olympic Games". At that time, a team of more than 100 ethnic minorities in Yunnan will hold high the torch and beat gongs and drums along the main tourist roads in the park to cheer for the Olympic Games. In addition, enthusiastic youth group song and dance teams, free and easy humorous black street dance teams, rich amorous feelings of Iasi Moon Dance Team, Plateau Art Troupe and other art groups will give wonderful performances for tourists at the Carnival Torch Concert.
Celebrating Torch Festival in "Ethnic Villages" is full of atmosphere, music, organization and planning, and ethnic boys and girls dress up to teach you to dance and sing. The Ethnic Village is 9 kilometers away from downtown Kunming, with convenient transportation and tickets to 45 yuan.
Second, the hometown of Ashima-Shilin
Shilin is a famous scenic spot in China, where the beautiful Yi legend "Ashima and Haig" happened. Have a "Torch Festival" in the Stone Forest, just inside the Stone Forest, have a carnival for three days, and you can buy three to five torches at night. After lighting the lamp, walk around the stone forest. Of course, if you are brave enough, you can go deep into the stone forest.
During the day, local aborigines will cook beef and mutton in the Woods. If you want to taste it, you can spend a few dollars to buy beef, mutton and white wine from them. During the Stone Forest Torch Festival, there are many Chinese and foreign tourists, and they are full every year. Shilin is less than100km from Kunming. This is a good road. Tickets to 80 yuan.
Iii. Yizhou-Chuxiong
Chuxiong, the capital of Wei Chu, is 0/60km away from Kunming/KLOC. Famous scenic spots include "Yi Yang Li Park" (in the urban area) and "Zixishan Forest Park" (in the suburbs). There is an iconic sculpture "Yi girl Miyi Road" in the city.
During the festival, the city is crowded with people and the heat is unbearable. In the past, the Torch Festival was centered on the statue of Miyi Road, but now it is centered on Taoyuan Lake and Gregorian Park in the city, where you can play the torch. Chuxiong Torch Festival is mainly a festival, with little deliberate performance. People who play "Sanxian" (a musical instrument) and "vault" (a dance) in the street are ordinary people. Everyone volunteered to get together and sing and dance all night. You can join their team at will and dance as you like. Folk dance is actually very simple. To sum up, it is nothing more than "three steps to the left, one kick, three steps to the right, one kick". Hehe, if you can't sing, just shout: "One, two, three, kick", so this dance is commonly known as "three kicks". Generally speaking, a man plays the "three strings" (a bit like a pipa), several women sing along, and everyone dances to this rhythm. The tone is also very simple, and you will hum it once or twice. The lyrics are a little incomprehensible to foreign tourists, but you can actually hear them if you listen carefully. If you are tired of dancing, you can barbecue at the night market stall and play until dawn, even the hotel accommodation can be saved. -
Generally speaking, the Torch Festival in Chuxiong City is more spectacular and has more atmosphere. People in Kunming have thought of "Torch Festival". If time and traffic permit, Chuxiong will be the first choice. However, the accommodation fee during the festival is really not cheap, and a standard room may rise to more than 100 yuan.
Fourth, Dali Bai Torch Festival.
If you think that the Torch Festival in Chuxiong is not enough, then move on and go straight to Erhai Lake in Dali and have been to the original Bai Torch Festival. What's the mystery in this? It turns out that the Yi Torch Festival started on June 24th, while the Bai Torch Festival was postponed on June 25th. After the Yi Torch Festival, we can just catch up with the Bai Torch Festival. Is it a good idea to do both?
As a famous scenic spot in Dali, there are many small fishing villages near Erhai Lake, which used to make a living by fishing and growing grain. Now the villagers are also involved in Dali's booming tourism industry, and the Erhai cruise alone has earned a lot of money. However, their tradition of Torch Festival is well preserved. A fire handle several meters high will be erected in the open space at each village entrance. When night falls, the fire handle will be lit. Every family will light a fire on the torch with a particularly beautiful small torch, and then walk around their house and fields with the torch. It is said that this can cure diseases and eliminate disasters. Of course, there will be some activities such as singing and dancing around the fire, which is very lively, cheerful and pure.
It's convenient to go to Erhai Lake. It's a few dollars by carriage from the north gate of Dali ancient city, and it will arrive soon. When you arrive in the village, you can also stroll around and see the typical Bai folk houses. Maybe the enthusiastic white aunt will drag you in and eat a rich "white taste" meal.

6. Where are you going?
Comparatively speaking, the Torch Festival in ethnic villages and Shilin places more emphasis on performance and entertainment, which is not only convenient for fun, but also convenient for visiting these picturesque and interesting scenic spots. The Torch Festival in Chuxiong City is a kind of folk self-entertainment activity, such as the Spring Festival of the Han nationality, temple fairs, etc., which is less performative and allows you to experience the real life of ethnic minorities, as well as the fiery festive atmosphere and unique national interest. However, to be on the safe side, you probably won't see any Mars, let alone go crazy with a torch! Imagine playing with fire in an unusually crowded place! Therefore, if you want to have an authentic Torch Festival, I'm afraid you have to stay in some remote villages for a while, where some exotic customs will be preserved. The small fishing village by Erhai Lake is a good choice.
It's up to you where to play, depending on which form you like, how much money you have prepared and how much time you can squeeze out. Make up your mind and get ready to go. Have fun! -Lijiang Naxi Torch Festival Photo: Lao Xie
Torch Festival begins on June 24th of the lunar calendar every year.
As we all know, Torch Festival is a traditional festival of Yi people. In fact, Bai, Naxi, Hani, Lisu, Pumi and other ethnic groups also celebrate the Torch Festival. However, the torch festival of Naxi nationality in Lijiang is one day later than that of Yi nationality-that is, the 25th day of June in the lunar calendar.
Torch Festival usually lasts for three days. Activities include singing and dancing, bullfighting, wrestling and archery. Festive activities of different nationalities and regions are different, but lighting torches made of pine on holiday nights is no exception.
Liangshan in Sichuan and Chuxiong in Yunnan are two Yi autonomous prefectures in China. In Xichang City and Chuxiong City, the state capitals of the two Yi people, whenever festivals come, there are grand festival celebrations, and at the same time, bullfighting, horse racing, wrestling and other competitions are held. Of course, in order to attract tourists, many cultural activities are officially organized, with some performance elements. The festival day is a huge commodity trading place.
Yunnan Shilin (Yuanlunan County) is the settlement of Sani people, a branch of Yi nationality. Because it is a famous scenic spot, it is also very lively during the festival. On the night of the Torch Festival, Shilin Scenic Area is crowded with people. There are also grand activities in Kunming Ethnic Village.
In Yunnan, besides Chuxiong, there are many Yi autonomous counties such as Simao and Honghe, and ninglang county in Lijiang is also called "Little Liangshan". If you want to see the real folk spontaneous festivals, you may wish to visit the villages in these remote counties. One year, I attended the Torch Festival in Jingdong Yi Autonomous County in the middle of Ailao Mountain. It's small, but it feels good. But in these counties and towns, don't expect local dancers to wear national costumes. There is no such thing! Only those scenic spots for your tourists!
Over the years, the torch festival activities in Lijiang, Dali are spontaneous, so they are all natural. You can dance with everyone around the lit bonfire on the streets of ancient cities and new towns, or you can go to Baisha, Longquan and other villages to participate in activities.
In Lijiang, torches began to be tied during the day, and the torches on the square streets of the ancient city were the largest in the city. After the torch is tied, people will decorate it with flowers and fruits. At night, people of all ethnic groups go out into the street. The fire on the ground was lit, and so were the small torches in their hands. Happy people jump around the torch and sing songs.
Torch Festival lasts for three days, which means that the torch will burn for three days. Therefore, the rule of Naxi people is that they generally don't let the torch burn out in one night.
So, at ten o'clock in the evening, the neighbor Uncle Niu spoke: "Xiao Xie, let this fire go out!"
I said, "But this torch is burning very brightly and will not go out."
"If you want to book tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, splash it with water."
Hehe, I really have to water the torch.
The next day, during the day, I added some new firewood to the torch and lit it at night.
On the third night, the torch will be completely burned out.
When there is only a pile of charcoal fire left in the torch, people have to jump over it, so everything will be safe and auspicious in the next year. Me? You have to jump, too, haha.
Lijiang Daju Township, under Yulong Snow Mountain and beside Jinsha River, is also dominated by Naxi people. Torch Festival is more distinctive. On the night of the festival, on the main street of 100-200 meters long, everyone must hold a torch to pass, otherwise they will fall into a sea of fire-burning rosin will spill on you, which is very "thrilling". Just like the torch festival of the Dai people, it is also a blessing to "shuttle" you with fire, just like people throwing water at you.
But how can you stand being burned? Once there is no torch to enter this street, you can't escape if you want to. Adults and children with torches will chase you down, but you will squat down as quickly as possible-this is the established rule, people will spread out and no longer use fire to "shuttle" you. The color friends in the same trade only took photos, but forgot to squat down, so they were "shuttled" and burned the hair on their legs (because of the heat, the color friends only wore shorts; Because of etiquette, people who are angry with you will "shuttle" rosin to the lower body.
It's too "dangerous", you have to squat all the time, you can't get close at all, and you can't take a good photo:)
Reminder:
1. If you go to Shilin by car or chartered car, remember to leave early in the afternoon, otherwise there will be traffic jams on the road and the activities will be scattered. You haven't arrived at the scenic spot yet!
2. To go to Chuxiong, it is best to drive or charter a car. It's convenient to go back to Kunming or Shimonoseki after the activity. If you take the shuttle bus, you should leave Kunming in the morning, otherwise you may not find a place to live in Chuxiong-unless you are willing to dance and take pictures all night.
As usual, Lijiang will not be particularly crowded because of festivals.
4. Take part in the activity, don't forget to bring rain gear to prevent the camera from getting wet. Because the Torch Festival is always in the rainy season, there will be showers at any time.
There are many people in the activity place, so you should take care of your valuables.
