How to write a composition about ordinary things

My hometown Nanjing is a place with many scenic spots, including the beautiful Xuanwu Lake. Wuhu is shaped like a ham. It not only has a vast water surface of 368 hectares, but also has five islands: Zhou Huan, Liangzhou, Cuizhou, Yingzhou and Lingzhou.

Xuanwu Lake is less than two meters deep, but it is not inferior to those lakes with deep water. There are many fish in the lake, including silver carp, carp, crucian carp, bream and so on. The lake is clear, swimming and rowing, elegant and popular! There are many lotus flowers in the lake. Every summer, some of them are in bud, some are smiling, and some are hiding in the lotus leaves. The water is green, pink lotus flowers are hidden in it, and the lake is full of fragrance and charming scenery. It's really "infinite lotus leaves, different colors of lotus"!

Xuanwu Lake is not only beautiful, but also picturesque on five small islands.

Zhou Huan, like two huge arms, extended to the lake from the north and south sides and embraced Yingzhou. There are many landscapes on the mainland, such as the boy worships Guanyin, the Crown Tomb in Guo Jin, the Children's Paradise, the Lamaism Temple, and the Nona Pagoda. One of the most striking is "the boy worships Guanyin". There are two grotesque Taihu stones beside the rockery at the corner of Zhou Huan opposite Xuanwu Gate. One is shaped like Guanyin, and the other is a boy, so the boy worships Guanyin.

Liangzhou is the earliest of the five continents. There is a two-story square ancient building in the northeast of China, that is, Guan Sheng Building. There is a platform on the north side of the building, surrounded by iron railings, which is an ancient podium. In the northwest corner of the mainland, there is a classical garden-style flower bed made of yellow stones. There is a winding path paved with rain flower stones between the altars, and the phoenix pavilion is next to the flower bed. Liangzhou also has a long history of scenic spots, such as the Lake Temple, the Friendship Hall, and the Huangshuguan in the Ming Dynasty.

Cuizhou, as its name implies, has many green trees on the island. "Cui Zhou Yun Shu" is the largest landscape on the island. Huge umbrella-shaped cedars, pagoda-shaped pines and cypresses and patches of bamboo forests are very quiet. On the water south of Xu Qiao, a water town named "Xiao Xie, Coco" was built in imitation of the Dai customs. It consists of more than 20 small bamboo buildings, connected by bamboo bridges. Tourists sit in the house and enjoy the scenery while drinking tea, which is very leisurely.

Yingzhou is located in the embrace of Zhou Huan and has the reputation of "Yingzhou Flower Sea". The cherry blossoms on the mainland are like a cloud, flying lightly, the promenade twists and turns, and the square is like a shadow.

Although Lingzhou is not as long as Liangzhou and Zhou Huan, as quiet as Cuizhou and as many flowers as Yingzhou, the scenery on the island is not inferior to other islands. "Two Dragons Playing with Beads" is a representative landscape of Lingzhou. It is a dragon made of two grasses with a "pearl" in its mouth. Lingzhou also has the "Bird World", where there are pigeons, peacocks, ducks and other birds, as well as acrobatic performances of parrots. Look, the big parrot actually grabbed the pedal with its small paws and kicked the bike away!
