The story of Mozi?

Mu Yi, a descendant of Mu Yi, was originally a Fang State with the same surname established in Shang Dynasty, located in Mushi area of Tengzhou City. After entering the Zhou Dynasty, he became a small country and was once a vassal of Song, Zhu, Lu and Qi. With the changes of history, the Muyi family has fallen from nobility to commoners. (Jimoyi, Mu Yi, the last province is Moh). Around the end of the Spring and Autumn Period (480 BC), Mohism was happy to add sons, and Mozi came into being. According to the Tale of Heaven and Tengzhou Folklore, before Mozi was born, "in my mother's dream, it was dark and bright, my eyes could not be straight, and I was surprised and dark." Wu is Zhai, also known as Feng, hence the name. "Zi" is the right honorific. Today, there is Muyi Pavilion in Mushi Village, Tengzhou City, and Muyi Mountain and Muyi River are in the west of the village. To the west of the village is Phoenix Mountain. According to legend, when Mozi was born, the phoenix fell on this mountain, hence the name. Mozi's hometown is the most developed area in ancient culture and technology. His father is a skillful craftsman and his mother is very virtuous. Influenced by the advanced cultural environment and good family education, coupled with his diligence, simplicity and sensitivity, he quickly learned handicrafts such as wood, automobiles, leather, pottery and metallurgy. At the same time, he asked his teacher for advice and learned cultural and scientific knowledge, and gradually grew into an outstanding talent with profound knowledge and rich practical experience. Four kites flying to Mozi's high woodworking skills can be compared with Lu Ban's. One day Mozi saw a kite (eagle) soaring in the air and made a wooden kite (kite) out of wood chips and other materials. The wooden kite flew in the air for three days and was praised by people. The success of this experiment has added confidence and strength to Mozi's future scientific and technological research. Five principles of mechanics Mozi summed up the principles of mechanics from the practice of production and life, and made the mechanical definitions of "force is also excited by shape" and the definitions of elasticity, lever balance mechanics, pulley force, inclined plane force and object balance force. He used the lever principle to develop orange juice for water extraction. He also made simple machines such as windlass, pulley, car ladder, etc., which were used in production and military affairs and were praised by people. Six-hole imaging ink is very optical. He gave a wonderful description of the linear propagation of light, the reflection of light and the imaging of several objects. Once, Mozi did an optical experiment. He opened a small hole in the Chaoyang wall of a hall and let a person stand outside the house facing the hole. Under the sunlight, a reflection appeared on the wall opposite the room. Through the optical experiment of pinhole imaging, Mozi expounded the principle of straight-line propagation of light: that is, light shines directly from up and down, and people's heads and feet form reflections on the upper and lower sides, becoming the forerunner of photographic technology in later generations. After studying and practicing Fiona Fang, Mozi put forward a correct objective standard: "Whoever makes contributions to the world must be incompetent." . Different craftsmen have their own specialties, but they all have to abide by the same standard rules, such as square ruler, compass, chalk line, straightening, leveling. These five standards are universally followed by all kinds of craftsmen. Eight eager to learn and Bo Mozi not only attaches importance to practice, but also attaches importance to theory. He is studious, good at thinking and has a wide range of knowledge. At first, he studied ancient traditional culture and Confucianism, which was very influential at that time. He studied "Zhou Li" and read "History of Hundred Countries in the Spring and Autumn Period" from the descendant "On Six Arts of Cultivating Sages". Mozi often quoted The Book of Songs, The Book of Songs and Zhou, Yan, Song and Qi Chunqiu in his daily conversations, lectures and debates, and he was very proficient in China traditional cultural classics. When studying Confucianism, Mozi of Zhou Chongxia discovered the shortcomings of Confucianism. "He thought that he was worried about the ceremony without worrying about it. He buried the poor and hurt his life for a long time, so he used summer and didn't have to bypass the road." Confucius admired Duke Zhou, and Mozi followed Yu Xia's example. He praised Yu Xia for dredging the river with a spade and controlling the flood. There is no meat or hair on his tired legs. He is a saint who works hard for the interests of the world. Ten non-Confucianists set up Mozi, refuting the Confucian thought of "respecting the virtuous, valuing the students and decorating the rites and music", parting ways with Confucianism and putting forward their own unique academic viewpoint and systematic theory-Mohism. The main contents of Mohist theory include ten propositions, such as universal love, non-aggression, Shang Xian, Shang Tong, frugality, frugality, non-happiness, non-destiny, ambition, and understanding ghosts. In addition, there are natural sciences, culture and education, logic, military national defense, engineering technology and so on. , the content is very rich. Eleven refutes Wu Mazi Mozi's arguments with Confucian disciple Wu Mazi many times. One day, Pockmarked Wu said to Mozi, "You were brave, and you didn't see anyone helping you, nor did you see ghosts and gods bless you. But you are still doing it. Are you crazy? " Mozi replied, "If you have two courtiers, one is duplicitous and the other is duplicitous, which one do you value?" Ma Zi Wu said, "I value the latter." Mozi said: "In this case, you also value crazy people." Mencius, the Duke of Twelve Answers, discussed academic and life issues with Mozi many times. On one occasion, Gong Mengzi came to see Mozi, wearing a hat, crutches and Confucian costumes, and asked what clothing had to do with behavior. Mozi said, "In the past, Qi Huangong, Jin Wengong, Chu Zhuangwang and Gou Jian, the King of Yue, wore different clothes, but they were all the same. I thought that doing one thing was not about clothes. " Conquered Gong Mencius with facts. 13 arguing with cheng zi Mozi told cheng zi that there are four aspects of Confucianism that can destroy the world. Cheng Zi said Mozi denigrated Confucianism. Mozi said that this was accusation, not slander. A few days later, Mozi and Cheng Zi argued and praised Confucius. Cheng Zi asked, "You have been attacking Confucianism. Why do you praise Confucius?" Mozi replied: "Confucius also has something that is reasonable and unchangeable and should be treated differently." Mozi insisted on taking things rather than people all his life, and truly achieved "not taking people by words." In southern Shandong, there was a man named Wu Wei who planted pottery in winter and in summer. Mozi heard about it and went to see him. Wuwei said to Mozi, "righteousness is practical, so why publicize it everywhere!" " Mozi said, "You cultivate crops yourself and give them to the people, and the profit is too small. I can save the world by preaching justice, and the profit is huge. How can you not publicize it? " The fifteen disciples of Mozi, a group of lecturers, took it as their duty to "promote the benefits of the world and eliminate the harm of all peoples" and went around to publicize justice and principles. After several years of practice, he deeply felt that it was not enough to rely on one person's strength, and more people must be organized to die for righteousness. Before the age of 30, he founded the first comprehensive civilian school of arts, sciences, military engineering in human history and trained a large number of talents. History books say: "Disciples are rich all over the world", and his theory has also become an outstanding study of "speaking all over the world". Mozi, an organization, knows that preaching alone is not enough, and it must be backed by strong strength to succeed.
