How long is the shelf life after filming?

The shelf life of film after shooting is generally about 3 years, and it can be used in a good storage environment (low temperature drying) for about 10 years. The longer the storage time, the higher the fog.

Because the film after shooting produces fog faster than before shooting, it should be developed as soon as possible. There are exceptions: some photographers deliberately keep the new film for 1~2 years, and use it when it is near its expiration, in order to get "soft" photos.
