Photography; How to shoot the winter in the north

(1) How to use up the snow scene?

1, when taking portraits; Besides reasonable composition, we should try to avoid shooting against the light, because the exposure value of human skin and snow is very different, which means that the snow will be very pale and have no layering. On the contrary, if you take care of the snow, your face will be underexposed and the color will darken. So when I take a portrait, I smooth the light with 30-60 degrees, measure the light by the palm (female) and the back of the hand (male), and reduce the exposure of 1 (in the automatic position), so that I can not only eat fish, but also taste the bear's paw.

2. When the scenery is set off by "people"; It is best to use 10-30 degree side light, and one normal exposure is enough. However, we should also pay attention to the proportion of far, middle and close shots, and the echo relationship of colors.

3. When shooting the scenery; Running out of light and measuring light are the most annoying things, and a little carelessness is failure. (1) When I shoot the snow rhyme, I expose it according to the highlight area, so that the charm and lines I shoot have a feeling. (b) When I was shooting the forest in Xueyuan, I owed 0.5- 1 exposure, because the dark trees interfered with the camera's metering. (c) I chose to shoot the alpine snow scene in the morning and evening, because the light at that time was charming and was shot according to the general photometry. (d) When I sketch, I mainly consider highlighting the texture of snow. Generally average or underexposed. (e) When I shoot high-standard films, I usually choose "false cloudy days" or foggy weather, and at the same time I have to go through 1-2 exposure.

(2) Why do I always miss exposure when shooting snow scenes?

1, first consider the fixing medium; Film and CCD. (1) At present, under normal circumstances, the film we use has a tolerance of -3-+2, that is, we can shoot three times less and two times more at most. Once exposed to snow, it will lose its texture and level. (2) The CCD imaging latitude of digital cameras is narrower, and the texture and level of overexposure will disappear.

2. At present, almost all the scanners we use are thin but not thick, and the image quality scanned by too thick negative is particularly poor.

When shooting a snow scene, the surrounding scenery can't be all white. Other objects darker than snow and light and shadow will affect our photometry. Once the dark objects and bright shadows are too large, act according to the overexposure theory. As a result, you can imagine.

4. Leave room for later adjustment. As mentioned above, the fixing tolerance of cameras, especially digital machines, is particularly narrow, and it will be difficult to adjust after exposure. If I follow my practice, even if the exposure time is a little short, there will be no major defects, and it will be adjusted later.
