What's the difference between Camera Raw and Lightroom? Which one is better?
Camera Raw (ACR) can be regarded as a plug-in in PS, which is used to read and adjust the camera Raw format.
Lightroom (LR for short) is a software for batch management and processing of pictures. Pictures in JPG, TIFI or RAW format can be directly managed without conversion.
ACR basically adjusts the picture like LR, and has no other functions. After all, it is only a plug-in, and the camera models supported by ACR are limited.
In addition to adjusting pictures, LR's batch management function is the biggest highlight, which is convenient for professionals (basically suitable for photographers) to manage pictures, and the support for camera models is relatively loose, and there are few cases of incompatible formats.
If you only adjust one picture, you can use ACR directly. After the initial adjustment, you can directly import PS for fine processing.
