Thoughts on the former site of Ying Chao Iron and Steel Plant

I don't go to work today, so I'll go to the county to do something. It's only half past nine after work, and suddenly I have an impulse! I just want to go to Bei 'anyang Village, south of the county seat, and visit the former site of Ying Chao Iron and Steel Plant. Because, since I wrote a series of memoirs of My Uncle's Life at school, it has aroused the response of some old workers. In particular, I came across a series of masterpieces with precious memory significance, such as "Old Photos of Ying Chao Iron Works" and "Interview with Ying Chao Iron Works" published by Jane Liu Aiguo, a famous photojournalist in our county. In those precious photos, I looked at the old photos with a sense of the times, moved and admired, and these photos reflected the dedication and fighting spirit of the older working class. Originally, I thought the factory was closed. Must the old site have been demolished? Unexpectedly, the gate of Ying Chao Iron Works in the photo is still there! As well as the original office building, administrative center, workers' club and other buildings can be clearly seen in the photos. It also inspired me to visit this state-owned enterprise that closed down in the last century and was once famous.

So, take bus No.4 at the bus station to Bei 'anyang Village and visit my uncle's footprints in Ying Chao Iron Works. ...

Less than ten o'clock, I got off at Bei 'anyang Village and soon found the former site of Ying Chao Iron Works. So, I couldn't restrain my excitement and walked quickly to the old site. ...

When I saw the gate of the factory, I couldn't help but recall strongly ... 1994. During the summer vacation, I lived in Ying Chao Iron Works, which was in its heyday at that time, for more than ten days, which left a deep impression on me. It's been more than 20 years, and it's still the same. Opposite the factory gate, there is a highway bridge leading to Nan 'anyang Village, which was the same as it was 23 years ago.

The gate of Ying Chao Iron and Steel Plant stands quietly like that, as if telling the world about the past storms and glories of this factory. ...

When I came to the front of the factory, I hesitated to go in. I glanced at the guard room behind the gate and heard someone talking, but no one came out to check and stop it. So I was relieved and went into the factory naturally.

Standing on the factory avenue facing the gate, looking to the right, the building of the workers' club is still there, except for the five red characters "workers' club" on the roof, which has been rented by a ceramic enterprise.

Looking to the left, sure enough, the factory office building is still hung with a label. Although the enterprise went bankrupt, there is still a leading group in charge of affairs.

By the roadside, the small garden with landscape flowers and trees is still the old iron fence. The panda iron carving welded on it may be managed frequently and the paint is relatively fresh. Those pandas are black and white.

Further on, I saw the bulletin board of the blackboard newspaper with the unique safety slogans and policies of that era, which was very chronological!

I remember that in 1994, on the left side of the avenue were staff restaurants and dormitories, as well as bathrooms and basketball courts. Now there is no trace of them, and they have been built into a finished product warehouse by a ceramic factory.

Go to the end of the road, which is the overpass leading to the production area. However, the overpass has long since disappeared. I climbed to the top of the bridge that had been demolished and was shocked to see this scene! Blast furnaces and production workshops with roaring fans and rushing molten iron have also been swept away and razed to the ground.

Now, it is replaced by a thermal power plant under Shanxi Coal Energy Group.

Looking at all this, I really sigh that time flies and people are empty!

I noticed several old people and women sunbathing in front of a dormitory building in the living area. I think these people must be some old workers who still live in this old factory that once made them proud. I went up and chatted with an old man of about seventy years old, only three or two sentences. When the old man learned of my purpose, he couldn't help getting excited and telling me the glory and hesitation that this factory had experienced. ...

"alas! Nothing, an old worker as big as me almost died ... "During the speech, the old man revealed a lot of feelings and helplessness.

The big factory that once occupied an area of 100 mu is now only one and a half times that of the original living area. Walking along the Central Avenue, looking at the factories with blue bricks and gray tiles on both sides, I can't help but think of a post called "It used to be very prosperous here" I saw in Yangcheng Baidu Post Bar a few years ago, which showed the yesterday of Ying Chao Steel Works in the form of old photos. The author is also a teacher Liu Aiguo.

There was nothing to miss, so I left in a hurry. Because "the only constant in this world is change"! Can not conform to the trend of the times and sudden changes, can only be run over by the wheel of history!

When I left the factory, I looked back and found that the clinic in the factory had long been privately owned to serve the people.
