Architecture majors train senior engineering management talents who are engaged in architectural design, interior design, landscape planning and design, building group planning and urban design and have obtained basic training for architects. Students are required to have a solid foundation in science and engineering, strong image thinking ability and artistic expression ability. During the period of school, students will receive strict professional training and master the basic knowledge of architectural design series courses, fine arts, urban planning and design, interior design, Chinese and foreign architectural history, architectural structure, architectural physics, programming foundation, building regulations, architectural photography, building model making, building equipment, building economy and so on. In the fifth academic year, they will arrange a semester of professional practice to cultivate practical application ability in the design institute. After graduation, students can work in various architectural design and research institutes, urban planning and design institutes and government departments.

Urban planning majors can take the postgraduate exam in architecture. I am a graduate student in urban planning. One of my brothers majored in urban planning in the previous undergraduate stage, and took an examination of architecture in the postgraduate entrance examination.
