Preface to the course of photography skills

When I entered my 60th birthday, the sixth edition of Photography Skills Course was revised, which was also a birthday present for myself. Since the first edition of 1989 was published, My Book has been deeply loved by photographers and photographers in the past 20 years, with a circulation of more than 700,000 copies. It has been used as the first choice textbook for photography courses by a large number of colleges and universities across the country, which often makes me nervous. Only by constantly and seriously revising can we thank the readers for their love.

Why does an ordinary photography textbook have such a long life? I'm afraid continuous improvement is one of the main reasons for keeping pace with the times and constantly revising. To this end, I think this book will have the seventh and eighth editions ... It is my wish and goal to turn it into a classic and popular photography teaching material in China.

The "Sixth Edition" is not only brand-new, but also comprehensively revised, with major additions and deletions and major structural adjustments, mainly including:

First, the structural adjustment is mainly to compress and merge the two chapters of "traditional camera" and "movie" into one chapter. This is because the application of traditional photography is gradually decreasing, but it will not quit the field of photography.

2. The chapter "Characteristics, Types and Uses of Digital Photography" and the chapter "Digital Image Processing" have been strengthened to a great extent. A lot of practical, applied and newly developed digital photography has been added. With the increasing popularity of digital photography, photographers have a growing demand for it.

Third, the fifth edition of "Photography Special Effects and Photography Topics" is expanded into two chapters, one is "Dynamic Photography, Macro Photography and Flip Technology", and the other is "Landscape Photography and Portrait Photography".

Fourthly, the chapter of "news photography" has enhanced the content of "photo editing". Other chapters have also been added or deleted to varying degrees.
