What places are there in Macau?

Located in the northernmost part of the Macao Peninsula, Huadima parish is the largest of the five parishes in the Macao Peninsula. Most of the land in this parish is cultivated.

Matang District of Huadi includes Qingzhou, Taishan, Racecourse, Heishahuan, Wang Xia, Chopsticks Base and other places. Most of the land is obtained by reclamation, and large-scale reclamation projects are still going on.

After the 1960s and 1970s, Macao's economy took off, and the region also developed rapidly into a new industrial zone. The main industries are textiles, clothing, plastics, toys, leather, electronics and electricity.

2. San Antoinette District (Cotan District)

Saint Antoinette District, also known as Kao Tang District, is located in the west of Macao Peninsula and is one of the five districts of Macao Peninsula. Including Shalitou, Xinqiao and other places, famous tourist attractions, such as St. Paul's archway, big fort and pigeon nest park, are all in this area.

3. Lobby area

The lobby area is located in the southeast of Macau Peninsula in People's Republic of China (PRC) (China) Special Administrative Region, but there is a narrow strip extending to the west coast of the peninsula between Xinma Road and Caodui Street.

The political and economic center of the Macao Special Administrative Region covers an area of 3.4 square kilometers, second only to the Matang District of Huadi. The population is the least in all districts, so the population density is also the smallest in the eight districts.

4. Wangdetang District

Located in the middle of Macau Peninsula, Wangdetang District is the smallest of the eight parishes in China and Macau. There are still many ancient Portuguese buildings in Wangdetang District, among which Pozilou is the most representative.

5. Fengshun parish

Sanlao Lengzuotang District, also known as Fengshuntang District, is located in the south of Macao Peninsula, with an area of 0.9 1 km2. Sanlao Lengzuotang District is one of the earliest developed areas in Macao. The new roads in the north and the streets in the south are part of the bustling business district connected with the lobby area.

At the northern end of the east coast is the Guangdong-Guangdong inland river passenger terminal, at the southern end is the largest container terminal of Macao Peninsula Nanguang Company, with a series of freight terminals in the middle.

6. Jiamotang District

Jiamotong District is a parish under the jurisdiction of People's Republic of China (PRC) (China) Special Administrative Region. The local name is Tai Tsai (also known as Longtouwan and Tanzai, formerly known as Dragon Ring and Chicken Neck), and the outlying islands of Macao are one of the four major parts of Macao. Taizai Island was originally an independent island, but now it has been integrated with Luhuan and Luchao City.

7. St. Francis diocese

As one of the eight subdivisions of People's Republic of China (PRC) (China) Special Administrative Region, Saint Francis Parish was established as a non-administrative institution and has no legal status. San Francesco Catholic Church is the most famous scenic spot around the island, because San Francesco's arm bones are stored in the church.

8. Luchuan City
