Thinking of Chinese Painting Creation

Zheng Yaoyun, member of Yangjiang Artists Association, director of Yangjiang Artists Association. 20 15 graduated from Wu Shanming figure painting class and studied under Wu Shanming. His works were selected for the 12th Guangdong Fine Arts Calligraphy Photography Exhibition and the 3rd Guangdong Lingnan Art Exhibition.

My hometown, Yangchun, Guangdong, is a city rich in tourism resources. There are many cultural relics and beautiful natural scenery here, and it is known as "Spring of Ink Painting, Baili Gallery". Fish and Wang Shi's gorgeous sunset and graceful Malanfeng, known as the "first cave in South China", constitute a beautiful picture, spread out on this magical land. I am amazed and intoxicated by every scenery, and it also urges me to pick up a brush to sketch and create.

At first, I just sketched some landscapes, and my major was realistic figures in ink painting. So I also pay special attention to the materials of people and customs in my hometown. But I couldn't find a good theme at the moment, so I had to draw some ethnic minority figures. Painters of ink painting figures generally have a * * * knowledge, that is, some ethnic minorities' robes and long sleeves have natural formal beauty, which is especially suitable for the use of ink painting, while straight trousers and shirts are more difficult to be treated with ink painting. This is also the reason why I was a little resistant to the painter's fellow villagers at first. After creating a number of works representing ethnic minorities, I always feel that such themes are too far away from my current life experience. Therefore, I have to slowly find the material in the process of painting the scenery. In the process of collecting wind in Liugaohe market, I found what I was looking for by an accidental opportunity. Gaoliuhe market has only one market day a year, which has been circulated in Lingnan for thousands of years and has now become a symbol of Yangchun folk culture. Liugao River is located in Heshui Town, Yang Chun City, Guangdong Province. This river is more than ten kilometers long, and the market is located here. Gaoliuhe Market takes the fourth day of the fifth lunar month as the market period every year. During the market period, a large number of tourists will come here to gather with local market participants, about100000 people. At this time, woven goods, bamboo and wood products and handicrafts with local characteristics will gather in the market. The popularity of the market is bursting, which reflects the prosperity of contemporary people's lives and their love and pursuit of a better life. These vivid characters and rich and enthusiastic life scenes have deeply infected me, and I can't help but sigh: "The good theme is in front of me, so why go further and further!"

In this way, one of my "Liugaohe Ruins" (see attached figure 1) was created. In this work, I especially emphasize the writing of lines. When painting bamboo chairs, I use the middle strokes of seal script to pursue the simplicity of lines. The lines of clothes are mutually utilized from the side, which shows the richness of brushwork. The whole painting is dominated by ink and wash, and the colors are slightly embellished. The contrast of color and ink increases the interest of the picture, thus producing a certain artistic effect. This work was finally selected for the third Guangdong Lingnan Art Exhibition.

My painting method originated from Zhejiang School. 20 13, I was lucky enough to be admitted to "Wu Shanming figure painting creation and research class", and I took Mr. Wu Shanming, a famous figure painter in Zhejiang, as my teacher. In two years, I systematically studied the techniques of realistic figure painting in Zhejiang School. From the initial understanding of messy figure painting to formal and systematic training, I have a new understanding of freehand figure painting from painting method to theory. My understanding of Zhejiang figure painting is that it combines the pen and ink language of flower-and-bird painting on the basis of accurate modeling, and cuts into more other pen and ink vocabulary in the modeling of figure painting. At the same time, it pays attention to the use of pens in calligraphy and emphasizes the significance of "writing".

Ink figure painting, whether it is modeling method or pen and ink technique, has experienced the exploration, practice and creation accumulation of many generations, and the system is very complete. Xu Beihong, Jiang and others explored the combination of Chinese and western arts, and painters representing the northern ink figure painting system were influenced. Among the figure painting groups in southern Zhejiang, Li's massiness, Zhou Changgu's richness and elegance all have their own advantages. My teacher creatively used calligraphy to draw figure paintings, which expanded Huang's calligraphy. In my opinion, the essence of ink figure painting is how to express people, especially how to express contemporary people in new forms. Shi Tao in Qing Dynasty said: "Pen and ink should follow the times." With the development of the times, the technical language of ink painting has become more and more abundant. I think every figure painter must establish his own unique artistic language system to express his inner feelings and cognition of the world. I think this is also the ultimate goal of painting art creation. Therefore, I have created a series of works of "Liugaohe Site" (Attached Figure II is "Liugaohe Site II") and have been making unremitting efforts in this direction. I will take "Liu Gao River City" as the research topic, and show this Millennium market representing Yangchun customs and culture in the art form of Chinese painting, and strive to promote excellent culture.
