Exclusive interviews with people in Cambridge

I don’t want to fight for spring, I just want to report the coming of spring

——Exclusive interview with the famous recital artist Kang Qiao

Recently, there is a name that is very popular on the Internet. As long as you are in the video If you search for "Cambridge Recitation Works" on the website, you will be able to enjoy his music and painting MV works. His wonderful poetry recitations and wonderful music and painting artistic conception are pleasing to the eye and breathtaking! With nearly 10,000 hits per day, it is not easy in a quiet place where poetry recitation is not popular and is often forgotten! The person who created this miracle is the recitation artist Mr. Kang Qiao. With many questions from netizens, a reporter recently conducted an exclusive interview with Kang Qiao.

Reporter: Teacher Kangqiao, have you ever thought about becoming an Internet celebrity one day?

Cambridge: No. I never wanted to be a celebrity, I was just doing what I loved. I create ancient poetry, music, and painting MVs purely out of responsibility and without any utilitarian thoughts.

Reporter: Before you, were there any MVs of ancient poetry, music, music and paintings?

Kang Qiao: Almost none, at least not found online. There is only a pure sound-sounding poetry recitation, with a cover at most.

Reporter: Your creative impulse is to fill this gap?

Cambridge: Not exactly, I like reciting. It's purely a personal hobby, I liked it when I was a student. If you have the idea of ????filling the gap, someone has to do it sooner or later. If I don’t do it, others will do it.

Reporter: Is it easy to do?

Cambridge: It’s not easy! Otherwise, someone would have done it long ago.

Reporter: Where is the difficulty?

Kang Qiao: The difficulty lies in the collection of video materials and picture materials. Reciting is my strong point, and audio and video production are my majors. The key is whether the scenes and images matched can match the content of the poems. After all, the photography and video resources I have at my disposal are limited, and most of them can only be collected from the Internet. Modern ones are easy to find, but ancient ones are hard to find. We can't have actors put on ancient costumes and act in specific scenes like we do in movies and TV series. Of course, if we have a big investment, we can do it. But after all, it’s not possible now, so I can only make do with simplicity and use limited resources to create. This will inevitably leave a lot of regrets.

Reporter: In your opinion, in music and video MVs, is the recitation or the images more important? Or is it a combination of both?

Kang Qiao: For now, I still focus on recitation and music, and the picture can only be placed third. Recitation of ancient poetry and prose is the core, with music and painting playing a supporting role. The real skill lies in reciting, music plays the role of foil and rendering, and the pictures also serve the main body of recitation. As far as art appreciation is concerned, it may be better not to have pictures, because the existence of pictures limits people's imagination, and the images generated by them are limited and imperfect. Just like listening to Shan Tianfang's storytelling, everyone's imagination is different, so the characters in the storytelling will be different. If the storytelling is arranged into a TV series, the characters will be fixed, which will inevitably lead to different identities.

Reporter: Since the picture is not so important, why do you still need to make a MV?

Cambridge: Keeping pace with the times, art must continue to innovate! There are fewer and fewer people who like classical literature. It is not easy to let impetuous young people get close to ancient poems and articles with literal literals. Therefore, it is necessary to artistically reprocess ancient poems and articles, adopt various forms of expression, incorporate fashionable cultural elements, plan and package them, enhance their appreciation and appeal, attract and stimulate people's interests and hobbies, and let the excellent traditional culture carry forward. !

Reporter: Now it seems that your efforts have paid off. Are you pleased?

Cambridge: Very pleased! I didn't expect the response to be so big. Every day netizens post or send text messages saying they like my work, I am very happy! I would like to take this opportunity to thank all netizens for their support and love for me! In fact, I would rather hear opinions and suggestions on my work.

Reporter: What are your plans for the future?

Kang Qiao: Continue to create and strive to release more audio and video MV works, focusing on "Three Hundred Tang Poems" and "One Hundred Song Ci". Collect and publish published MV audio and video products of ancient poetry. At the same time, the hardware facilities of Kangqiao Studio are updated, and the creative team is strengthened, so that the Kangqiao version of audio and video MV works can enter thousands of households.

Reporter: Teacher Kangqiao, I often see a character called Yu Zhou Sing Wan in your works. It can be said that she is there if you are there, and she leaves a deep impression on people. On behalf of the netizens, I want to know , what is your relationship with her?

Kang Qiao: She is my best partner, a famous talented woman and a senior planner. We founded Kangqiao Studio together. Without her advice and full support, we would not be where we are today. She is very low-key and is willing to work behind the scenes.

Reporter: Teacher Kangqiao, thank you for accepting my interview despite your busy schedule. I sincerely wish you good health both physically and mentally in the days to come! Create more and better ancient poetry MV audio and video works!

Kang Qiao: Actually, there is no need to promote me. If everyone likes my works, I will be satisfied.

The interview is over. I am honored to experience Mr. Kangqiao’s abundant creative enthusiasm and humble and rigorous creative attitude up close. What I admire even more is his strong sense of social responsibility. When the excellent ancient cultural heritage of the motherland was increasingly neglected and classical poetry gradually faded out of people's sight, he shouldered the important task of inheriting and promoting traditional culture, which reflected an artist's humanistic conscience and dedication.

From this, I thought of the red plum blossoms that have endured severe cold and announced spring lonely.

"There is no intention to strive for spring" and "only to repay spring when it comes". Isn't this a true portrayal of Mr. Kangqiao?
