Caesar of Rome led an army to occupy Egypt. When he left, he received an unexpected gift: a Zhang Dongfang carpet in which Cleopatra, 22, hid. Cleopatra, a charming young woman, was dissatisfied with her sister's treating her younger brother as king and wanted to dedicate herself to Caesar. She relied on Caesar's support to get rid of Ptolemy XIII, and her plan succeeded. Caesar was fascinated by her beauty and obeyed her. Her sister rebelled, and after she reached an agreement with Caesar, Roman reinforcements arrived quickly. After several wars, her sister was defeated, and Ptolemy XIII was defeated and killed. Cleopatra married her younger brother Ptolemy XIV to prepare for seizing power.
Soon after, Caesar deposed her younger brother according to her wishes and made her the queen of Egypt. The frenzied fire of love and the desire for political power combine to make this pair of heroes and beauties of different countries and nationalities fall in love. Soon after, she and Caesar started a two-month trip. They followed the Nile as far as Dandra, where Cleopatra was honored as Pharaoh. They fell in love and gave birth to a son named little Caesar. The queen and her young son left Alexandria for Rome in 45 BC and lived in the palace built by Caesar for them. She sat on a huge model of the Sphinx and was dragged through the Arc de Triomphe by 8000 followers. Roman citizens came to the city to bet on the queen's unparalleled style. Unfortunately, it didn't last long, and Caesar was assassinated soon. Cleopatra had to go home alone. Her eyes deeply touched the heart of Caesar's heir, the Roman general Anthony.
Six years later, Anthony became Roman consul and Egyptian governor. Cleopatra's incomparable sensual enjoyment of Hua Rong and Egyptian court touched his heart. He gave him some territories of the Roman Empire, including Tarsus, Cyrene, Crete, Cyprus and Palestine, to show his love. He did not love mountains and rivers, but loved beauty. Later, he was dismissed and officially married Cleopatra, which led to the Roman war against Egypt. Anthony was unfortunately defeated and committed suicide. Octavian, who was in charge of the Roman regime, threatened to bring Cleopatra back to Rome for public display. Cleopatra didn't want to be insulted, so she ended her life with a poisonous snake. The love affair between the Queen of Egypt and two generations of Roman commanders ended in tragedy.
