Where does the default wallpaper for iPhone 6 come from?
IPhone 6/6 plus has been used for so long. If you still can't bear to change this galaxy wallpaper, keep reading. The Milky Way of Snow Mountain comes from photographer Espen Haagensen, and Klassy Goldberg, editor of professional photographer's photo community 500px, interviewed him some time ago and learned the story behind this wallpaper.
Espen Haagensen was busy preparing for his wedding when the Milky Way of Snow Mountain was presented to Apple users around the world.
My friend called me excitedly and asked me if I took the photo with iPhone 6. My answer is, I don't know, maybe.
Espen Haagensen said that he later turned on his Mac to check the release information of iPhone 6, and suddenly found his photos "flying all over the sky". Although Apple contacted Haagensen a few months before the press conference and obtained the authorization to use and spread this photo, Haagensen did not expect that this photo would eventually become a pre-installed wallpaper for iPhone 6/ 6 plus. Of course, Haagensen thinks it's an honor to be photographed by Apple.
Then how was this photo taken by the picky apple? According to Haagensen, this photo was taken in June 5438+February last year. A few years ago, he often went skiing with the mountaineering team of the Norwegian Hiking Association in a place called Fensai, where the photos were taken. Finns is an ideal ski resort in Norway, which has just entered the ski season. However, due to the changeable weather, it is uncertain whether it will snow, so Haagensen usually takes photographic equipment with him when he goes.
Haagensen used Canon 5D3 camera, Nikon's 14-24mm super wide-angle lens and Gitzo's full-size tripod when shooting this map of the Galaxy. Haagensen took several photos before nightfall, and then when the moon disappeared in the sky in the middle of the night, this quiet photo of the Milky Way was born. Before uploading 500px, Haagensen adjusted the definition with Photoshop Lightroom to make the "Galaxy" look more obvious and fine-tuned the color temperature.
In fact, there is also a small room with lights on in the original photo. Perhaps in order to make the picture more concise, Apple dropped the hut when it was used as wallpaper.
Finally, Haagensen is not a full-time photographer. His job is an IT developer in a Norwegian bank. So, when you go out to play in the future, remember to take good photos, which may be regarded as wallpaper by Apple one day.
