If you are using a SLR, you must consider these three points: shutter, aperture, and ISO (sensitivity). Both shutter and aperture affect the amount of light your camera lets in, and the amount of light that enters affects the exposure of the photo. Sensitivity, as the name suggests, is the camera's sensitivity to light. When the shutter speed is fast, the amount of light entering will be reduced, but the photo will be clear and without shake. The larger the aperture value, the less light enters, and vice versa. Combine these three to control the exposure of your photos.
