What is the relationship between Lanta and Holiland?

Lanta and Holiland were originally one company, but were later managed by separate founders.

Holiland established an internal franchise system for founders in 1999, split the equity, and divided the national market into six regions. Luo Hong and the other five founders were each in charge of one area.

In 2019, Holiland closed 300 stores one after another, and many founders set up their own businesses. Many stores were renamed "Lanta", "Sweet Star", "Dandelion", "Hofuli", and Holiland became a competing brand, and the reason behind the separation was the dispute between Luo Hong and other founders.

The entrepreneurial story of Holiland

Luo Hong, the founder of Holiland, is a photography enthusiast. He once worked in a photo studio and also opened a color expansion store. The opportunity for Holilai to start a business came from his filial piety. In 1991, in order to buy a beautiful and eye-catching birthday cake for his mother, Luo Hong ran all over the city but found nothing. This experience made him realize that there is a vast market for high-quality cakes in China waiting to be explored, and Holiland was born.

Referring to foreign cake designs and hiring professional cake chefs, Luo Hong started her own business, hoping to make "the most beautiful cake in China." The artistic cake appearance and delicate taste have made Holiland very popular, becoming the most popular cake brand in Ya'an and Lanzhou.

After that, Luo Hong began to develop Holiland chain operations across the country, established Holiland headquarters in Shenyang, and formulated unified service standards for employees.
