The behind-the-scenes tidbits of blue in the trilogy of blue, white and red
In one scene, Julie is holding a box with the word "blanco" written on it, which means white in Spanish. In the next scene, in the street, a man is dressed in blue and a woman is dressed in red. These subtle codes just correspond to the trilogy of three colors-blue, white and red. In this order, they are like the colors of the French flag.
On the European TV screen, the scene of Julie letting the cat eat the newborn mouse was cut out.
In order to film the scene where Julie rubs bricks against the wall with her hand, Juliette Binoche originally planned to wear a prosthetic to protect her hand, but this is obvious in the camera. Binoche thought this passage was very important, so she really scratched the wall and shed a lot of blood without any protective measures.
