The design of the roof form breaks through the constraints of the traditional building "big roof" in China in lighting. The top of the slope consists of geometric figures. First of all, the glass skylight with three-dimensional geometry above the roof is unique in design.

The skylight opens in the middle of the roof, which makes the three-dimensional geometric skylight of the roof form an angle with the sloping roof below it, showing a three-dimensional modeling effect, which not only solves the practical problems of traditional architecture in lighting, but also enriches and develops the roof modeling style of China architecture.

The Neolithic, Wu cultural relics exhibition hall, film and television hall and multi-function hall in the hospital are arranged in the basement. The basic exhibition hall of Suzhou Museum has only one floor. There are four permanent exhibition halls in the exhibition area: Wu Di Heritage, Wu Ta Bao Guo, Feng Wu Zhong Ya and Wu Men Painting and Calligraphy. Among them, the "Wu Di Inheritance" series includes four theme exhibition rooms: Early Morning, Spring and Autumn, Splendid Jiangnan and Urban Charm.

"Wuta Bao Guo" series includes two theme exhibition halls: Ruiguang Temple Tower and Huqiu Yunyan Temple Tower. The "Wuzhong Elegant" series includes the treasures of the study, the treasure of edifying, the skill of attacking jade, the skill of carving, the elegant objects in the study, occasional leisure, the ink opera thatched cottage (that is, the studio and outdoor of the Song Dynasty) and the splendid floating exhibition hall; "Wumen Painting and Calligraphy" is especially the works of Wu Pai, Wu Pai, Wu Yun, the Four Kings and their schools, and Yangzhou Painting School.
