Why did Xue Biao leave Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra?
Xue Biao left Wuxi with his father after his birth, and later studied and worked abroad for more than 20 years, but he never forgot his hometown of Wuxi. Xue Biao said that his determination to return to China in 2007 was also inseparable from a concert held in Wuxi in 2006. According to calculation, Xue Biao is at least 60 years old. When he grew up, he chose to retire.
Xue Biao was born in Wuxi. He studied violin in Shenyang Conservatory of Music, Shanghai Conservatory of Music and Houston Conservatory of Music in the United States, and studied under Jin Yanping, Cheng and Zheng He Frederick. He won prizes in national violin competition, chamber music competition and many international competitions. Later, he served as the principal of the Central Orchestra Chamber Orchestra, the New American Chamber Orchestra, the Spanish Granada Chamber Orchestra, the Royal Seville Symphony Orchestra and Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra, and served as a violin professor at Shanghai Conservatory of Music and Zhejiang Conservatory of Music.
