What battery does Nikon f3 use?

Lithium battery.

Both Nikon F3 and Ricoh KR-7 cameras specify the use of two 1.55V silver oxide batteries or one three-pack lithium battery. Do not use them interchangeably. Note that the positive and negative poles cannot be reversed, and do not mix different brands and different voltages, new batteries and used batteries, and do not use a charger to charge disposable batteries to avoid danger.

When going out for interviews in the northern winter, be sure to bring spare batteries and use your body temperature to keep warm. If you are photographing in a cold area, it is best to use a mechanical shutter camera suitable for low-temperature climates, and consider using a cold-resistant lithium photovoltaic battery for photometry to ensure normal operation.
