On the evening of April 3, 2023, the lights were on, and the Longhu Sakura Avenue on Binhai East Road showed a different kind of beauty and charm. Citizens and tourists wander in the cherry blossom forest, or take a leisurely stroll, or take pictures of beautiful scenery, and feel the fun of enjoying cherry blossoms at night in splendor.

Accompanied by wonderful performances, the first National Coastal Cherry Blossom Carnival in Mu Ping in 2023, hosted by Yantai Culture and Tourism Bureau, Yantai Revolutionary Old Area Construction Promotion Association and Muping District Committee Propaganda Department, co-organized by Muping District Culture and Tourism Bureau, and hosted by Muxin Group and Yantai Longhu Real Estate Co., Ltd., officially kicked off.

At the launching ceremony, eight theme tourism products of "Huayang Yantai Hongdong Jiaodong" urban micro-vacation were released, which combined "meeting delicious spring scenery" with "inheriting red genes" to provide more spring tour product choices for the general public.

Night cherry blossom viewing activities

The Night Cherry Blossom Carnival will last until May, and through the continuous creation of a series of highlights, the full-cycle and all-weather beauty of cherry blossoms will be displayed. At the event site, wonderful programs are constantly emerging, and various fashionable and interesting ancient and modern mashups are introduced to define new ways of punching cards. Poetic lanterns full of cultural flavor and colorful lanterns are decorated to create a theme atmosphere.
