The experimental center of the college currently has 5 laboratories and 2 technical exhibition rooms, namely: CAD laboratory (computer room), model laboratory, architectural physics laboratory, architectural photography laboratory, VR ( virtual reality) laboratory, construction technology exhibition room, energy saving and green building exhibition room. The total usable area is 1,234 square meters, the total number of equipment is approximately 548 sets, and the total equipment value is 6.891 million yuan. The experimental center currently has 15 full-time experimental technicians and part-time teachers, including 3 professors (including 1 external professor), 4 associate professors, and 6 lecturers and engineers. In 2011, the college’s Experimental Teaching Center applied to the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education as a construction site for the Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Colleges and Universities in the name of the Modern Construction Technology Comprehensive Training Center and was approved for project approval. The experimental center is responsible for teaching experimental tasks for undergraduates in three majors: urban planning, architecture, and environmental art. It has set up more than 30 experiments, with a 100% experiment acceptance rate. It plays a vital role in practical teaching and experimental teaching. Function, use modern technical equipment to efficiently teach scientific culture and skills, cultivate students' hands-on practical ability, scientific research exploration ability and innovation awareness, and improve the quality of talent training. The green building and ecological city technology laboratory of the college has an area of ??69 square meters. It mainly displays the development history of green buildings, design concepts and design methods, technology integration and application, evaluation system, and demonstration project design through exhibition boards and physical displays; Development history, planning concepts, indicator systems, case analysis, technology integration, development trends, etc., for the majors of architecture and urban planning: green building, ecological urban design, urban ecology and environment, architectural design basics, preliminary planning and design, architectural design , urban design, graduation project and other courses play a positive supporting role.
