Introduction of Tangshan xifengkou Underwater Great Wall

Xifengkou was called Songtingguan in Song and Liao Dynasties. During Yongle period of Ming Dynasty, it was rebuilt and closed, and renamed xifengkou. The Chengguan Tower is 4 feet high, and the city walls are built on both sides of the building door, which is connected with the Great Wall of Wan Li. Since ancient times, xifengkou has been a traffic hub and a battleground for military strategists. Lu You, a patriotic poet in the Southern Song Dynasty, once wrote a poem, "The third watch caresses the pillow and cries, and the dream wins the Songting Pass", which shows the importance of his military status. 1933, Japanese invaders attempted to enter xifengkou. Song, an anti-Japanese general, led his troops to meet the enemy, and patriotic soldiers slashed more than a thousand people, resulting in a famous March. When the Northeast Army of China People's Liberation Army advanced into North China to liberate Peiping and Tianjin, it also entered the customs.
