What is artistic photography?

The definition of photography is often given by reasoning. After giving the first principle of photography definition in general, it is proved that all kinds of schemas about photography classification are deduced, and finally some specious categories are separated and entered into the division of photography certainty. Such words can be seen everywhere in the traditional photography theory. One definition of photography is this: "Photography is the process of recording or reflecting the real scene in a plane by using scientific principles such as optical imaging."

For works of art, the selection criteria are first of all the pursuit of truth, goodness and beauty, bold exploration on the artistic road, originality and innovation in artistic expression. Simple imitation and a thousand people, no matter how beautiful the picture will be. "The essence of art is to explore the unknown." We should encourage the first artist to eat crabs. With the rapid development of new media, new technological revolution and economic globalization, it is inevitable that film festivals and competitions including the Netherlands will change, and exploration is not a bad thing. However, in the rapidly changing world, the core values that China International Film Festival has been promoting and adhering to will not change, the pursuit of brightness and beauty will not change, and the efforts made in world cultural exchanges will not change.
