Jichengtang was founded by Mr. Hong Chao He, the master of Qing Qianlong's imperial seal, and Hong Chao He, a famous historian. In the early years of Qing Qianlong's reign, he served as the imperial court's Qin Tianjian and settled in Quanzhou, Fujian. The calendar was originally exclusive to the royal family, so it was called "imperial calendar". Hong Chao and his books, recorded in "Re-compilation of Fujian Tongzhi", are: Hong Chao He, a character pool, proficient in astrology, and writing general books, all of which are purchased by dozens of coastal counties and foreign countries. During the period from Jiaqing to Daoguang-year, Chang Fang Hong Binhai (Xuehai), Er Fang Hong Bincheng and San Fang Hong Binhuai all inherited their father's footsteps, and mainly opened Zhang Jicheng Hall in Christina Pavilion of Jixian Shop in Quanzhou to select and make daily-use books. Quanzhou Jichengtang is basically presided over by three rooms (Hong Chao and Hong Binhuai, Hong Zhengxin, Hong Tangyan, Hong Luansheng, Hong Chunren, Hong Jiying and Hong Gui). Since the opening of Chengtang Day-choosing Pavilion, the influence of its general book and Spring Cattle Map on Fujian folk society has been expanding day by day, so that there are pirates who spy on it soon after its release. After more than 2 years' development, Jichengtang's scholars and their disciples have set up many independent portals in southeast provinces and Southeast Asia, which have a far-reaching influence.
