Behind the scenes production of Batman's return

Shooting process

The film started shooting in June, 199 1. The crew occupied Warner Bros. 16 Studio and Universal Pictures 12 Studio. The former is used to build Gotham Square, and the latter is used to build the underground nest of penguins. In addition to the two largest studios in Hollywood, Warner Bros. also used more than half of the shooting sites to create other Gotham sets. In order to create a comfortable shooting environment for penguins, a pool with a volume of 6.5438+0.5 million gallons was used. During the filming process, the producers always take the comfort and safety of penguins as the premise. During air transportation, the temperature in the cabin will drop to 7 degrees. In Hollywood, the producers provide refrigerated trucks, swimming pools and 1.5 tons of ice cubes every day. All the fresh fish they eat are purchased directly from the dock. At that time, the outdoor temperature was 37 degrees, while the temperature in the studio remained below 2 degrees.

safety measure

Warner Bros. adopted extremely strict confidentiality measures, requiring the art department to close office curtains, and all cast members were required to wear photo ID cards to enter the studio. Even kevin costner, who came to class, was turned away. During this period, an entertainment magazine once published danny devito's makeup photos. In order to track down the leaker, the producer specially hired a private detective.
