The 41-year-old Czech director Bohdan Slama directed and served as the screenwriter of this film. Since the launch of his first personal directorial work "Stvanice" in 1992, Slama has always adhered to the principle of slow work and meticulous work, and only released a movie every 3 to 5 years. This rigorous creative attitude has won Slama numerous accolades, including recognition from the San Francisco Film Festival, the San Sebastian Film Festival and Czech local film awards.
