Why can't Sony cameras take pictures?

It is recommended to check the battery performance of the camera first.

Generally, a digital camera needs a large current of about 1000- 1500 mA in shooting mode. If the battery performance is not good, the camera will automatically turn off.

Because the digital camera only needs a few hundred milliamps of current in photo viewing mode, your camera can be turned on in photo viewing mode, but it can't be turned on in shooting mode because of poor battery performance.

It's best to find two good quality batteries that have just been fully charged to test the machine.
