Chongqing is foggy and rainy, full of fruits (1)
I didn't know much about Chongqing before I went to Chongqing. After all, it is so different from the place where I grew up, one south and one north, one mountain and one plain.
However, Chongqing's nicknames are well known, such as Mountain City, Wudu City and Jiangcheng City. ...
Nicknames always reveal local characteristics, and these characteristics can always make people yearn for them.
Of course, another feature of Chongqing has to be mentioned, that is, the unique three-dimensional devil traffic. This gave me a strong sense of direction when I first arrived here.
I remember before I came to Chongqing, I always heard that Chongqing was a 5D city. I listened, but I didn't pay much attention. I always feel that the road is under my feet, and the direction is nothing more than before and after, at most, adding up and down. Who knows, once these six directions are intertwined, it is enough to form the effect of "ghosts hitting the wall".
On the day we arrived in Chongqing, it was drizzling. Because the hotel I booked is not far from the subway exit, I thought I would find it soon after I got out of the subway. Plus, I didn't want to open an umbrella since I was a child, so I stepped in the rain.
What needs to be put in here is that the subway in Chongqing is really an underground subway. It feels like it took six or seven long escalators to reach the ground. If I put this height on the ground, I feel that I have climbed 10 floors. )
I walked in the rain, looking at the map on my mobile phone, and then looking at the road ahead. I always feel something is wrong. There seems to be one or two roads missing (it was later learned that it was underground), but fortunately, the general direction was right, so I went forward.
After many twists and turns, I quickly came to the point marked on the map, only to find that I had no way to go. The building is in front of me, but I look around, but I can't get through. I stood there quietly and waited for a while, so I had to go back the way I came. At this time, I am not in a hurry, because it is useless to worry.
This time, I didn't follow the instructions of the map, but found my way around that building. In this way, I finally came to the front of this building. This building is very tall. Looking up, there was a little mist on the roof, which made me dizzy. The buildings in Chongqing are very tall. In my feeling, Chongqing is superior to Beijing and Shanghai in this respect. After a sigh of relief, I began to look for the entrance of the building downstairs, but to my horror, I walked all the way to the next building and couldn't find the entrance.
In desperation, I had to call the hotel to ask. In this way, I followed the instructions on the phone, went around the back of the building, crossed a bridge, came to a sinking square, and finally entered the building from a corner door. Take the elevator after entering the building, and I'm on the second floor. Later, I tried to get out of the 1 building, only to find that I had to walk a long way to get back to where I entered.
At this point, I finally found the hotel. It only takes 5 minutes to walk on the map, but it took me more than 40 minutes.
When I arrived at the hotel, my clothes were finally soaked and I put on clean clothes. I stood at the window and looked at the city. When I booked a hotel, I deliberately chose a high-rise room overlooking this unique mountain city.
Chongqing is indeed a megacity, and it is always endless. Because of the rainy weather that day, it was a little foggy, which made the far end present a hazy feeling, blurred the distant buildings and added a touch of ink. Not far away, the Jialing River blows like a ribbon, adding a bit of softness to the city.
After watching it for a while, the irritability caused by getting lost and getting wet just now has disappeared unconsciously. I cleaned up briefly, prepared to go out for a walk, and solved dinner by the way.
As the hotel is not far from Jie Fangbei, I went out. This time, I no longer stubbornly rely on my own legs to find my way, but honestly take the bus as shown on the map.
After several stops, I came to Jie Fangbei Pedestrian Street. At this time, the rain outside is still raining, but it is much smaller than before. The light rain is magnificent and a little drunk. Jiefang North is the commercial center in this area, and the flow of people is very dense. Everyone seems to have adapted to the rainy weather in Chongqing, and there is no intention of hiding from the rain. I walked along the road and looked at the beautiful shops around me. In fact, in my opinion, the business circle is like this, and there is not much stress.
