Iceland Golden Circle One-day Tour Iceland Golden Circle Attractions Ticket Location Catering Raiders

Iceland is a fascinating island country. The climate here is cold, but due to the geographical mountains, there are four seasons like spring in some areas. The cultural characteristics here inherit the elements of England, and many delicious foods and beautiful scenery are waiting for you to explore and discover. The following is a detailed introduction to the one-day tour of Iceland Golden Circle.

We agreed to see two scenic spots left by the Golden Circle at this time. The hotel will start serving breakfast at 8 o'clock, so we are optimistic that the return time will be just right.

There are three scenic spots on the regular route of the Golden Circle. If you want to go diving in Silva, or go to other scenic spots, and you are not the kind of person who sleeps when you get on the bus and takes photos when you get off, then one day is not enough. Just like us, neither the geyser nor the Golden Waterfall had time to go yesterday.

At 4 o'clock, 15, the alarm clock rang on time. Look outside the room after brushing your teeth and washing your face. The ground is wet and it is raining lightly.

The pony is crawling on the lawn in the distance, and its mother is grazing beside it.

There is a bird on the left and right of the wooden table, and the super mini one on the left.

At 5 o'clock, when we started on time, the rain had stopped. A few minutes after leaving the hotel, I suddenly saw such a picture. The oblique sunshine is not strong, and the morning mist floats on the road, just like a fairyland. I haven't had time to call a car to take pictures, and my destination has arrived. What I saw before was not morning fog at all, but the heat emitted by geothermal energy.

Gesir geyser

Geysers are hot springs that erupt intermittently, mostly in areas with active volcanic activity. In volcanic areas, hot lava will raise the water temperature of the surrounding strata, and even turn into steam, which will rise along the cracks when it meets the cracks in the strata. When the temperature drops below the vaporization point, it will condense into water with very high temperature. The accumulated water, as well as the groundwater in the upper part of the formation, will rise to the ground along the cracks in the formation and erupt at regular intervals to form geysers.

Geyser Iceland means Baoquan, which is one of the famous geysers in the world.

We should be the first tourists. This is an open area with no walls and no admission fee. In fact, almost all the natural landscapes in Iceland are free, except the Kaili crater. We parked our car in the parking lot at the entrance of the visitor center. The sun is like a naughty child, sometimes hiding in the clouds, and sometimes getting out of them. No, it's only a few tens of meters from the parking lot to the scenic spot opposite. I feel tired for him because the sun appears and disappears.

Sweep away your shadow in the sun, here we come.

Rain moves in the sun.

The ground is covered with pink flowers.

Not all geysers are constantly spraying. When its injection conditions are lost, it is just a pool of water or a piece of land. Just like the largest geyser here, its name is Geyser. It has fallen into a deep sleep. Because there is a layer of soil about 20 cm thick covering the old siliceous layer, the geyser will not erupt again.

Stoke geyser is the only geyser here that still erupts normally. Every eight minutes or so, the jet is continuously sprayed for two or three times, and the water column can reach up to 20 meters.

Struck, shoot forward.

When we were watching the scenery, it suddenly sprayed in front of us, suddenly excited and rushed over. Wait there for the next plane.

The most famous geyser scenic spot is not a huge jet stream, nor a high frequency that erupts every few minutes, but a 0.5-second blue pearl bubble that is about to erupt. Many people stay here for a long time just to capture the wonderful 0.5 second.

I didn't get the best result.

In order to get the best shot, we waited for it to erupt several times, because it didn't always spray to 20 meters high, and sometimes it just dropped a few meters shyly. At the moment of waiting, all of us are like sculptures, motionless, and the one who raises his hand is called tired.

But I still have to hold it, for fear that I can't film the whole spraying process. Every outbreak is not without warning. Energy is also brewing. A few seconds before spraying, you will see it start to stir. Maybe you will ask, you can't wait for it to stir before raising the camera to shoot. Theoretically, we can do this, but at the scene, we are afraid of being late accidentally.

It's taking pictures and videos. I am really busy! Originally, I wanted to bring my camera on this trip, but later I felt too busy, so I didn't bring it. Fortunately, I didn't.

Xiao Yan, she took videos of every scenic spot with her mobile phone, which inspired me very much. If you travel next time, be sure to put a sling on your mobile phone and hang it around your neck. It's convenient to shoot videos. If you haven't been there, if you like taking pictures and don't want to miss the video, then this method should be a coup.

The whole spraying process

The surface temperature here is very high, and there is a high temperature warning signal.

Sunshine adds a touch of charm to this place.

It's a bit like the water in Jiuzhaigou.

Bryce

Blesi, Icelandic means flame. Turquoise is very eye-catching. It once spewed a water column one meter high.

It can be seen from the relevant records of the last century that the water sprayed by Blesi formed a stream, and Blesi was composed of two basins split by a fire on a piece of land.

The spring near the south is deep, clear, hot and colorless, so it looks dry on days when it doesn't erupt. The water in the spring flows to the spring in the north through this "flame" in the basin. The water in spring is blue.

Blue spring is only 1m deep, because it has no source of its own, so the water is relatively cold, only 40 degrees.

Spray in front again.

The land on the hillside ahead is crimson.

My outline

Red is soil, green is grass and yellow is flower.

Look at the strike from another angle

Curious BY wants to feel whether the water on the ground is really hot. His hand was already in the water when we screamed. Just when we couldn't bear to look him in the eye, he said something that surprised us: "This water is cold."

Cold, I looked around suspiciously. Oh, this is the way to go, not a geothermal hot spring. It should be that only closed places are hot.

Finally, look at the blue spewing.

There are two places to eat. One is a buffet in a nearby hotel. It's not expensive, but there are many tour groups, especially tourists from China. The other is the tourist center, where fast food is not expensive, much cheaper than the fast food in Golden Falls.

Lovely refrigerator, made in Iceland.

It takes about 10 minutes from the geyser to the Golden Waterfall.

Gullfoss is 2500m wide and 70m high. It is the largest fault canyon waterfall in Iceland. The Tahe River forms two waterfalls here, and the downstream channel narrows into a torrent. The golden waterfall is magnificent and the scenery is spectacular. The rushing water flows down into the canyon with a drop of more than 50 meters, making a deafening roar.

Under the sun, in the transpiration water mist, a little water drops are shining with golden light, and bright rainbows are looming, as if the whole waterfall is made of gold, hence the name "Golden Waterfall".

Speaking of waterfalls, I have to mention rainbows. In the past, when we looked at other people's photos, there were often rainbows, but we were powerless. Every time I go to the waterfall, there is either no sun or no rainbow. Only when you see the penultimate waterfall in your trip will you see the rainbow. This is the only time. If I haven't seen them once during the whole trip, should I say I'm lucky?

The Golden Waterfall is divided into an upper waterfall and a lower waterfall, and there are two parking lots. Several cars were already parked there when we arrived, just after 6 o'clock. It seems that many people are in a hurry. Iceland can be said to be the country with the largest number of people taking pictures with photographic equipment abroad in recent years. This is a country that many photographers and travelers must visit in their lives.

The observation deck overlooks the whole waterfall. The steam in the waterfall is very strong. There was no water vapor before I saw the waterfall.

Look at the steam ahead.

I always walk at the back of the line. When I first arrived at the waterfall, Xiao Yan told me excitedly that she saw a rainbow near the waterfall. I'm excited too, but I'm looking forward to it. No, she took out her cell phone. There is no rainbow near the waterfall in the photo. Xiao Yan was afraid that I wouldn't believe her, so she took BY's mobile phone and said that he took a clearer picture. I looked at it, and it seemed a little, almost invisible.

Transpiration water mist

The sun in the sky was there until I left, and he didn't show me the rainbow, not for a second! I said golden waterfall, isn't it a little unreasonable for you to show me the rainbow in such a heavy fog?

The golden waterfall is very spectacular.

Go along the path.

After that, we walked along the path to the waterfall, which was bathed in foggy water. I put on my raincoat. Actually, I don't have to wear a raincoat if I wear a jacket.

Be sure to protect the lens when shooting at this angle, which has the largest water vapor.

Come on, feel the steam.

You can always see waterfalls from different angles along the way. You must walk the whole distance until you reach the front of the waterfall.

In front of the waterfall.

Canyon; split

Golden Waterfall can definitely rank among the three major waterfalls in Iceland. The gold content of the gold circle is genuine, not only because of its proximity, but also because of its strong ornamental value.

The hillside is full of small flowers of various colors.

When I was doing the Raiders before, I saw someone say that there was a fence opposite the Golden Waterfall Visitor Center, and there were many horses in it. We forgot to watch it because we had to go back to the hotel, but I was fed up with ponies in our hotel.

When we get back to the hotel, we go to have breakfast. This BB B&B abroad is actually very economical, providing beds and breakfast, but it is quite expensive in the peak season of accommodation in Iceland. There was a little joke at breakfast. We saw something like porridge in the bowl and ate it. We didn't expect this to be the raw material for making waffles. An old man sitting next to us showed us how to make waffles, but this raw material is also cooked and edible, and it tastes like oatmeal.

After breakfast, I went outside to see the pony again, which was a farewell before parting.

When I touched it, it changed back and didn't move at all.

That's great.

Lovely pony

Pony went back to his mother to drink milk.

Reluctantly bid farewell to the pony. When our car started, it ran away again. Maybe it can't bear to say goodbye to us.
