What is the color temperature?

The color temperature is generally 5200 ~ 5600 K.

The "normal color temperature" in photography refers to the color temperature value of the light source that can make the color of the object most truly expressed. Generally speaking, the color temperature of indirect sunlight is about 5200~5600K K based on clear and cloudless noon. Due to the complicated reasons such as observation time and latitude, there are certain differences among the "noon sun" around the earth.

Color temperature is a unit of measurement, indicating the color components contained in light. Theoretically, blackbody temperature refers to the color of an absolute blackbody heated from absolute zero (-273℃). After heating, the black body gradually changes from black to red, yellow and white, and finally emits blue light. When heated to a certain temperature, the spectral component of the light emitted by the blackbody is called the color temperature at this temperature, and the unit of measurement is "K" (Kelvin).

If the light emitted by a light source contains the same spectral components as the light emitted by a black body at a certain temperature, it is called a certain K color temperature. If the color of the light emitted by a 100W bulb is the same as that of an absolute black body at 2527℃, the color temperature of the light emitted by this bulb is: (2527+273)K=2800K.

How much is appropriate to adjust the color temperature of computer screen;

The color temperature of the computer will affect our eyes, and the appropriate color temperature can make us feel less tired and comfortable when using the computer.

Common color temperatures in displays are 5000K, 6500K, 9300K, etc. The higher the color temperature, the bluer the color (cool tone), and the lower the color temperature, the redder the color (warm tone). 5600K~6500K is the most suitable for viewing.

The higher the color temperature, the bluer the color (cool tone), and the lower the color temperature, the redder the color (warm tone). Now all monitors have color temperature adjustment function (some give a range of color temperature, which can be adjusted steplessly), and users can choose their own color temperature values.

Most people in China are more accustomed to keeping the color temperature of the display at 9300K, but this is not absolute, depending on their preferences for the color of the image displayed by the color temperature.
