Five laws of composition
First, symmetrical composition
Symmetric composition refers to dividing the image into two completely symmetrical parts, usually placing the main body in the center, so that the whole picture presents a symmetrical form. This kind of composition gives people a sense of balance, stability and atmosphere, and is especially suitable for shooting subjects such as architecture, interior and still life.
Two or three-point composition
Triangular composition is to divide the picture into three parts: left, middle, right or up, middle and down, and put the main body in one of the key parts to make the picture more dynamic and layered. Common three-point composition includes golden section and diagonal section.
Third, backlight composition
Backlight composition means that when shooting, the subject faces the light source and the background is in the shadow, which can highlight the outline and color of the subject and enhance the visual effect and layering of the picture. However, backlight composition needs to pay attention to the control of exposure to avoid overexposure or darkness.
Fourth, the foreground composition
Foreground composition refers to adding foreground to the picture to make it more vivid and layered. The foreground can be any object, such as grass, trees, stones, etc. , generally placed in front of the screen, in contrast to the main body. Foreground composition needs to pay attention to the relationship between foreground and subject, so that foreground plays a prominent role in subject.
Five, diagonal composition
Diagonal composition is to divide the picture into two opposite diagonals, and put the main body at the intersection of one of the diagonals to make the picture dynamic and layered. Diagonal composition is often used to shoot landscapes, people and other subjects, which can make the picture more vivid and rich.
In short, composition is a very important part of photography, and good composition can make photos more attractive and artistic. The above five composition rules are common composition methods, but they are not unique. In the process of shooting, we can choose different composition methods according to different themes and needs to achieve better results.
