Pay tribute to Ricoh GXR module creativity? Fuji shows GFX modular concept camera.

The GXR modular camera introduced by Ricoh a few years ago is a special product that many photographers expect to have successors. It adopts a novel modular concept, with the body and control design as the main body and replaceable component lens modules. Fuji fujifilm showed a special GFX modular Chinese film camera in XSummit activity, which reminds people of the original concept of GXR, but unlike GXR as a replacement module, the extension handle seems to be a replacement component in the design of Fuji GFX module concept machine.

The core module of this GXR concept machine retains the main structures such as photosensitive element, exposure, shutter dial and LCD. And through the connecting hole between the top hot shoe and the side, the observation window, the handle and other parts can be installed, which can greatly reduce the overall size, but at the same time, it is full of expansion flexibility, such as becoming the controller of a professional video recorder. However, Fuji also admitted that the biggest challenge at present is how to make smaller shutter modules and high-efficiency batteries. After all, the power consumption of medium-sized components is theoretically high.
