Guide to Taimu Mountain

As a famous scenic spot in Fuzhou, Taimu Mountain has an ornamental area of 92.02 square kilometers. Featuring granite peak forest caves, it integrates mountain, sea, Sichuan and human landscape. It is famous for its natural landscapes such as dangerous peaks, grotesque rocks, grotesque caves, beautiful streams, waterfalls and clouds, as well as rich cultural landscapes such as ancient temple stone carvings and cliff stone carvings.

The exposed Longtan is located under the exposed Feng Long. The swimming pool is quiet, elegant and leisurely. Due to the abundant rainfall in Taimu Mountain, the rainwater flows from Feng Long to a pool. In front of it, there is a green pavilion, which is taken from the meaning of mountains and rivers.

The rock of Taimu Mountain is granite, which has been weathered for a long time to form more than 360 stone scenes with different shapes. Predecessors once praised: too old and vulgar stone, all like magic, everything is known to people, all in the chest. In particular, nine miles into the sky and two Buddhist altars pass through two groups of landscapes, which stretch for thousands of meters and are magnificent.

Walking up the stone steps, you will arrive at the most interesting and distinctive Hulu Cave Road Paradise in Taimu Mountain, where dozens of classic and peculiar pictographic stone landscapes such as fairy saw board, fairy chess, golden cat and mouse, and jade rabbit listening to the tide are also concentrated. The stone platform behind is called Yingxian, with an altitude of 666 meters. It is said that immortals in the East China Sea often meet here, hence the name. The pavilion opposite Yingxian County is called Juxian Pavilion.

Lanxijian is a delicate and unique tunnel, about 50 meters long. It is named because the spring water in the cave oozes from the rock wall, flows along the tunnel and flows into Lanxi in a low voice.

There are more than 100 caves in Taimu Mountain. It takes 28 days to traverse all caves, and some caves take one day to get in and out. These caves have their own characteristics, the most magical of which are Yixiantian Cave, Qixing Cave and General Eighteen Cave.

Xiangshan Temple Tourist Area is mainly composed of Xiangshan Temple, Jiuli Lake, Five Hundred Luohantang and other landscapes. Xiangshan Temple was founded in the Ming Dynasty, formerly known as Miaoxiang Temple. Because there are many orchids growing around the temple, the fragrance of orchids floats with the wind every time it blooms, hence the name.

Jiuli Lake is located in the valley on the right side of Xiangshan Temple. It is small and exquisite, and the environment is quiet. The lake reflects the strange peaks and rocks nine miles away, with picturesque scenery. It is one of the best places for scenic photography in Taimu Mountain.

To travel to Taimu Mountain, you can choose the following modes of transportation: First, by plane, Taimu Mountain is located in Ningde City, Fujian Province, with obvious location advantages, with Fuzhou Changle International Airport and Wenzhou Yongqiang Airport in the north and south; The second type is bullet train. You can take the bullet train from Shanghai, Hangzhou, Ningbo and Wenzhou to Fuzhou and Xiamen to Fuding Station or Taimushan Station, or you can take the bullet train from Fuzhou and Xiamen to Shanghai, Hangzhou, Ningbo and Wenzhou to Fuding Station or Taimushan Station. Remarks: Fuding Railway Station is located in the suburb of Fuding, only 10 minutes' drive from the urban area and about 60 minutes' drive from Taimu Mountain Scenic Area. Taimushan Railway Station is located in Taimushan Town, fuding city, only 10 minutes' drive from the town center and 30 minutes' drive from Taimushan Scenic Area.
