Why is photographic literature loved by readers?

The fast pace of contemporary life makes people go to work in a hurry and get busy after work. Consumption, entertainment, fast food and planarization have become important features of the current lifestyle. When people read newspapers, they often read headlines, supplements and photos, advertisements and prices. In order to survive and develop in the fierce media competition, newspaper supplements must innovate and improve the effective reading rate. It has become the consensus of journalists to attract readers' attention with photos. Just flip through the newspaper at hand, the usage of photos on the page is increasing day by day, and the quality of photos is also improving. Relatively speaking, supplements can fully explore the connotation of photos, enhance the taste of photos and attract readers more than news.

Photographic literature not only makes photographic art break through the traditional documentary, but also turns the artistic language of literature into an intuitive image and the description of literary imagination into a visual picture, which makes it have both beautiful visual image and exquisite language art. Photographs and words interact in photographic literature, and the aesthetic elements of photos themselves are excavated by concise words, and their aesthetic value exceeds the aesthetic significance of photos themselves. The aesthetic functions of events, characters and scenes described in words leave readers with the beauty of images because of the observation of photos. The photos have appreciated in the supplement page, and the taste has improved. The composite aesthetic value produced by photos and words is far from being produced by a single propositional photo or a single literary language. Therefore, innovating photographic literature in newspaper supplements is not only the requirement of the times, but also the aesthetic demand of readers.
