How does the camera take a quick shot?

Experience sharing of home camera shooting skills

Lead: share the experience of shooting skills with home cameras. In the camera market, domestic brands have entered, and foreign brands, with the promotion and education of their agents, have gained initial recognition in the China market, and the layout of foreign manufacturers in the China market has basically fallen behind. Therefore, domestic camera brands are facing the suppression and competition of "foreign brands" at the initial stage.

Precautions for shooting

Inspection and preparation of equipment

I often see some DV friends, and every time it comes to the important moment of shooting, either the battery is dead or it crashes for unknown reasons, all of which are attributed to the failure to check and prepare the equipment in advance. Especially the wedding video is an important video, so the day before shooting, take out your dusty camera to see if it is moldy, power it on to see if it can be operated, put it on a blank tape for trial recording, and take it out to see if there are any defects. In places with insufficient indoor light, small lights are the best auxiliary tools. If you are fully prepared for the above, I believe you have succeeded more than half.

Experience sharing of home camera shooting skills

First, hold the camera steady.

It is best to hold the camera with both hands, which is definitely more stable than one hand, or use something that can be supported by you or prepare a camera tripod. In any case, it is to minimize the shaking of the picture, and it is the most taboo to shoot while walking, which is also the most common mistake. This shooting method is only used in special circumstances, not walking and shooting after getting up. Never forget that the stability of the picture is the first requirement of dynamic photography.

Second, fix the lens.

Simply put, after the lens is aimed at the target, shoot at a fixed point, instead of zooming in and out or sweeping up, down, left and right, set the screen size and start recording. Usually, when shooting, the fixed lens is the main one, so don't do too much zoom action, so as not to affect the stability of the picture. The change of the picture refers to changing the size and depth of field of the scene by using different framing sizes or different angles and positions. To put it simply, the camera stands a little behind when shooting a panorama, and stands a little in front when you want to shoot a part. The position changes, such as side, height and low position, show different effects. But remember not to stand at a fixed point and zoom in and out with a zoom lens, which is also a common problem in many DV families. Using more fixed lenses when shooting can increase the stability of the picture. When shooting one picture at a time, connect pictures of different sizes and make the pictures bigger and smaller with less zoom. Unless you fix them with a tripod, long-distance zooming will definitely lead to picture jitter. If you can master the above principles, your work will be more visible. According to the above, isn't the zoom lens useless when shooting? Not exactly. It's just the skill and timing. Please refer to how to use the zoom lens.

Third, the use of manual function

Due to the different designs of various machines, the items and methods that can be manually operated are also different. Only the common skills of brightness and focal length are explained here.

Manual brightness level function

First of all, explain the manual brightness level function. When shooting backlight and night scene, if shooting in full automatic mode, the former must be that the subject or character is all black and the background is bright, while the latter is that the lights are blurred in the dark. The principle is not discussed here. To solve the above problems, the best way is to press the backlight correction function key when shooting backlight. If there is no such function, then switch the automatic mode to manual mode and find the brightness level key to adjust the brightness of the picture. Brighten the brightness when backlighting and dim it at night. Usually, data will be displayed on the viewer or LCD screen in graphics or modes. Of course, the best way is to look at the picture directly on the viewer or LCD screen and adjust it to the appropriate brightness. So when you buy a video camera, be sure to let the store guide you how to use this function.

Manual focusing function

Usually, autofocus is used for general shooting, but under special circumstances, such as barbed wire, glass, people moving from the target ... often the focus of the picture will be blurred, because in the case of autofocus, the camera will judge the distance according to the signal reflected by the front object and then adjust the focal length, so this will happen. So as long as the autofocus is switched to manual, the focus will be locked in a fixed position (please refer to the manual for different display modes and adjustments of brands), so that the focus will not run around.

Four, how to use the zoom lens:

Video recorders and cameras also have zoom lenses, but the biggest difference is that the camera can zoom while shooting, and of course it can also be used as a framing tool for the size of a picture like a still camera. For example, if you want to shoot a distant target, you can zoom in with a zoom lens and take a closer look. When you zoom in to the required image size, just press the video button to take the required image. Just like the fixed lens shooting method. So when is the right time to use zoom when shooting? When you want to express the position of an object or a person, for example, pull a candle closer for about 3 seconds, then slowly shrink it, and the picture gradually appears as a cake filled with candles. This action makes the picture more vivid and interesting. You don't need to describe and explain. You can see what the photographer wants to say and what it means from the change of the picture. This is called "lens language". On the contrary, it is intended to illustrate a specific goal or person through enlargement. For example, the picture begins with a group of children performing a panoramic dance. After a few seconds, the picture is gradually enlarged to a bust of one of the children, and then the camera follows him. This kind of shooting is like telling you that this child is my son, which is intended to guide the viewer what you are shooting. These two commonly used strokes have their own meanings, which are used properly and have the effect of making the finishing point. On the other hand, I don't know what to say, aimlessly like a headless fly, the camera is flying everywhere. Abuse of zoom lens and repeated shooting as the picture is near and far is a common taboo for many V8 families. Remember to zoom in or out, pause each time you do it, and then start shooting from a different angle or picture. From now on, try to change the shooting mode, enjoy the fun of shooting and appreciate the results of shooting.

Five, the camera dynamic shooting skills

I believe you will often encounter pictures that can't take a panoramic view of the scene. At this time, everyone must scan the camera from right to left or from left to right, which is also one of the advantages of the camera. But when many people do this action, the picture often swings from side to side or when it is fast or slow, and it looks very unsmooth. These problems mainly occur in the wrong way of body rotation, or the rotation angle is too large, which leads to hesitation and cannot be achieved overnight.

The more correct way is to take the waist as the dividing point, the lower body does not move, and the upper body moves. Just like when you want to cross the road, look around to see if there is a car coming. It is reasonable to turn your head left and right below your shoulders. For example, if you want to shoot a scene, you need to scan from point A to point B. First, face your body to point B, keep your lower body still, then turn your upper body to point A, where the camera is facing the direction of point A, then press the video button, record for 5 seconds, and then slowly scan back to point B. When you get there, continue recording for 5 seconds, and then turn it off.

Many people will ask, how fast is the scanning process? In fact, there is no certain standard, it depends on the richness of the scenery in the range you want to scan. For example, shooting a static scene can be faster, but the principle is to see the content clearly. If the framing content is dynamic and rich, the speed can be slightly slower, so as to see the content clearly. The above methods are provided for reference when shooting, and the most important thing is practice and experience. Decide what to shoot before you start shooting, instead of driving the camera around looking for the target. )

People's vision will have different psychological feelings because of the different scenes in front of them, so when the photos you take show the scenery, the viewers will be influenced by some different degrees of vision. For example, shooting people or things with two different screen sizes, panoramic and close-up, gives people completely different feelings, and shooting from different angles will also give people different feelings.

When shooting normally, most people shoot from a head-up angle, but the angle on the screen changes too little, and if you watch it too much, you will feel boring. If the shooting angle is changed in time, the whole film will be more varied and more enjoyable. Although it is only some common family documentaries, the photographer's framing is rich and varied, which can also make the audience not feel bored.

When we shoot a person from a low angle with a head-up lens, we make the originally short person look tall and straight. If we shoot from a high angle with our heads down, we will find it very small and pitiful. Although the protagonist is the same person, he shows different feelings from different shooting angles, which is the mystery of the application of shooting angles. Generally speaking, when shooting a fat man, we should try to avoid shooting the camera too close to make him look fatter, especially when shooting girls, because girls are most afraid of making others think she is fat. If you zoom in a little farther, backhand shooting the whole scene will make the characters feel tall and slender. Although it is also a backhand shot, the result is different. If you shoot girls from a higher angle, for example; The figure is sitting and you are standing, and the picture effect is completely different. If you shoot a close-up or chest scene from this angle, the facial contour of the subject will appear slender, and the effect of shooting girls will be more pleasing. When we want to show the charm and admiration of girls, we can also get good results by shooting with full-body scenery, that is, the different visual feelings brought about by the change of shooting position and angle.

Different shooting angles will bring us different visual feelings. How to use it depends on how you look at what is in front of you. When we pay a little attention to shooting from different angles, you will find that the picture is vivid and broadens a lot of horizons. This is the charm of dynamic photography.

Sixth, different angles will have different feelings.

Wedding video shooting skills

Marriage is an important event in a person's life. Of course, I hope to record the whole wedding process completely as a good memory in the future, so photography and video recording have become the best recording tools at this time. Therefore, friends who own cameras often meet relatives and friends. As long as someone does a happy event, either volunteering or calling for friendship, they will take a camera as a guest photographer. I believe this is the experience of many friends.

Many people think that shooting a "wedding video" is a very relaxing and enjoyable thing. In my opinion, it is not easy at all. According to my personal experience of more than 700 professional "wedding videos" in the past five years, every scene is a new challenge for me, because I have to face different people, scenes and processes every time, and every scene is a brand-new challenge, and I dare not relax every moment. Before engaging in communication and equipment preparation, everything can't be sloppy, because I know that if something goes wrong, it will cause irreparable regret, because the wedding can't be reshaped because of the shooting situation, so to ensure the perfection of the shooting process, not only rich experience, but also good equipment conditions are enough to live up to this important task. If you have the above conditions and psychological preparation, you can stop this thankless work, otherwise it is more appropriate to suggest that the parties find an experienced professional photographer.

Since this unit is to guide us to "wedding video shooting skills", why do we have to find a professional photographer to shoot? Isn't that contradictory? In fact, this is also one of the "shooting skills". After all, you are not professional photographers, and your skills and experience are very different. Bad shooting is inevitable. There is also a big gap in photographic equipment. Find a professional photographer to record the whole process to ensure the quality and integrity of photography. What about you?

As the second photographer, on the one hand, you can be a backup force, on the other hand, you can do some more flexible shooting in places that professional photographers can't take care of, so that the whole wedding video process will be more perfect and foolproof, and your responsibilities will be reduced by more than half. You can shoot with a relaxed and happy mood without psychological pressure. How to play the role of photographer no.2? The following are some points for attention and key points in shooting. As long as you keep these principles in mind, you can ensure that your works are absolutely ornamental and interesting.

That was cut by hand.

This technique is called "focusing" and it is all done by hand. A cinematographer should have this ability (think about filming many years ago, when computers were useless and cameras were mechanical). This technology seems impossible to you, and it is a piece of cake for skilled professionals.

Of course, the current equipment also has some automatic servo focusing functions, but the effect of using it on the camera is not as good as manual, and it will always be a beat slower.

How to focus quickly and clearly in SLR video shooting?

Before, a friend in the circle happily told him that he had changed the equipment, Sony's flagship micro-single A7S2. He told the circle that he chose this machine because the advertisement claimed that it could realize the autofocus function in micro-single-lens (SLR) shooting.

However, only a few days later, old friends in the circle came to complain to the circle. He said that the auto-focus of the machine was really smart and fast when shooting still pictures indoors at first, but the auto-focus function of the camera was just like a dog when shooting subjects with messy background outdoors or complicated movements.

It seems that advertisements are advertisements after all. According to the circle, there is no SLR (micro-single) that can achieve perfect autofocus function. Then, for small and medium-sized teams and individuals who use SLR (micro-single) as the main shooting equipment, how to achieve fast and clear focusing?

First of all, we have to figure out the focusing principle of SLR.

According to normal visual experience, when people look at things, they will focus on the target object and automatically ignore the non-target subject. According to this principle, people invented the photoreceptor (formerly film) and lens.

Therefore, when people find that the target subject in the picture is unclear, they will have anxiety in the subconscious because of the incomplete visual information obtained, and subjectively regard such a picture as a wrong picture. This is why we emphasize that the most basic condition for a qualified video picture is that the focus is clear and correct (of course, in some special kinds of video works, virtual focus pictures can be allowed, such as some impressionist and stream-of-consciousness MV works).

After talking about so many principles, how can we make clear the key points? Many friends with shooting experience will find that it is relatively easy to focus when shooting some relatively static subjects, but once shooting a moving subject, focusing seems to be the difficulty of shooting. In fact, professional film and television production does not use autofocus, and photographers usually have a follow-up focus to clearly control the focus.

First, shoot subjects with simple background and relatively static background. Many people are used to using the autofocus function of SLR itself to shoot the subject clearly first, and then press the video shooting button to record the video, but this method is not recommended in the circle. Because this method usually turns on the automatic focus switch (AF) function of the lens first, the cameraman usually has no time or forgets to turn off the AF switch after pressing the shooting key, so it is difficult to read the sound of the shift recording into the focus motor in the later shooting, which affects the final imaging effect.

The suggestion of the circle is to turn off the autofocus (AF) switch of the lens and set it to manual (MF) mode before shooting. Then, the camera LCD screen is used to enlarge the main body to get a clear focus. Usually, the magnification function of the camera is 5 times and 10 times. In limited circumstances, it is recommended to focus the circle as large as possible. After repeatedly verifying that the focus is clear, press the shoot button to record the video.

So, in the second relatively complicated shooting situation mentioned above, how to keep the focus clear?

In the previous sharing, the circle mentioned the relationship between F value and aperture "Guide to the Configuration of Small and Medium Cost Video Production Equipment (Basic Part)". Simply put, the smaller the f value, the larger the aperture. Some friends should have used cameras that are mainly used to shoot news, records and other subjects. This kind of camera can usually achieve autofocus. Of course, this is related to the focusing element, but if you look closely at the picture taken by the camera, the depth of field in the picture is usually deep.

"Depth of field" is a concept that many friends often come into contact with when shooting SLR. Simply put, the depth of field is the clear range in the picture.

So generally speaking, cameras that can achieve autofocus generally have a small aperture, which means that the F value is very large. Therefore, after we enlarge the F value of the SLR (micro-single), the aperture of the lens becomes smaller, thus the clear range in the picture becomes larger. Even if the main body moves to a certain extent at this time, it will not easily lose focus.

But for SLR and micro-single, it is often limited by sensitivity (setting too high sensitivity will produce noise and affect the use of the picture). The circle suggests that there are several ways to keep the picture exposed normally when the aperture is reduced.

1. Increase ambient light

Use all kinds of ambient light in the shooting scene, such as indoor lamps and natural light outside the window, and add special shooting lamps and lanterns, such as led portable lighting, if necessary.

2. Reduce the shutter speed

Generally speaking, when shooting video, we usually don't easily change the shutter speed of the camera, but when the subject doesn't move much, we can appropriately reduce the shutter speed to 1/30s to let the camera enter more light and maintain normal exposure.

In addition, the circle suggests that you can use some auxiliary equipment to help you get better focusing effect.

Magnifier viewfinder

There are two main types, one is to enlarge the display screen installed on the LCD screen of the camera, and the other is to directly install it on the viewfinder to enlarge the viewfinder of the camera. Here it is. I suggest you use the first magnifying viewfinder. This kind of magnifying glass is easier to grasp the clarity of focus because it directly observes the display screen. In addition, because the magnifying glass itself is larger, it can provide additional support points when shooting eyes at close range, which is beneficial to shooting some sports shots.

External monitor

In the previous "Guide to the Configuration of Small and Medium Cost Video Production Equipment (Extended Part)", the circle introduced this kind of external display to everyone. This monitor is usually connected to the camera through a hd line, which can display the camera's view in real time. In order to make it easier for users to focus, such displays generally have auxiliary focusing functions, such as showing the peak of focus, and can also be equipped with a hood to facilitate shooting in outdoor strong light environment. Of course, compared with a magnifying glass, the price of an external monitor is generally higher.

These devices can be purchased on a treasure or a large e-commerce platform. Of course, apart from skills and equipment, the most sincere advice given by the circle is to practice more. In film and television drama shooting, in the face of some uncontrollable motion scenes, the film crew usually simulates the motion trajectory of the actors (subjects) many times to keep the focus clear during the whole motion process, so there is no need to worry about shooting repeated scenes. Taking more shots can greatly increase the chances of getting a perfect picture and facilitate later editing and material selection.

The action in the movie is slow, but the characters move quickly. How to shoot?

Slow motion? Quick shot?

Slow motion: In general, the switching frequency of film projector and camera is synchronous, that is, 24 shots are taken every second, and 24 shots are also taken every second during screening. At this time, the normal speed appears on the screen. If the photographer speeds up the shooting frequency, for example, 48 shots per second, then under the condition of still 24 shots per second, there will be slow motion on the screen, which is commonly known as "slow motion".

Snap. Just the opposite.
