Canon SLR 6d WIFI and mobile phone problems.

It's not transmitted via Bluetooth.

In the mobile phone connection mode, 6D provides two connection modes: taking the camera as a hotspot or connecting the camera to an external network. The working range of the latter depends on the coverage of the wireless network. The former regards the camera itself as a wireless hotspot and connects the camera with the mobile phone. No wireless router is needed, and the mobile phone will not generate traffic.

According to the test, there is still a strong signal in an unobstructed space (full most of the time) and the camera is 50 meters away from the mobile phone. When there is a complete barrier (such as indoor and outdoor, close the doors and windows), you can keep the connection close to the barrier, and it will be disconnected if it is too far away. The camera is installed in the camera bag and the mobile phone is held in your hand, so the signal is basically unaffected.

There is a passage in the instruction manual of 6D: "When you want to give priority to WLAN function, don't operate the shutter button, mode dial or play button. Otherwise, the shooting or playback operation may be given priority, and the wireless LAN function may end in the process. " In actual use, this rarely happens, so you can continue to take pictures when you are connected wirelessly (and the photos will appear on your mobile phone immediately). But occasionally the wireless connection will disconnect itself, even when the camera is still (not in standby state, not automatically turning off the power). At present, the exact reason of disconnection is not clear, and its performance is not fixed.
