Correct way to clean the lens
Most users of digital cameras ignore the manual that "digital cameras are fragile and easily damaged optical equipment". Few people will read the instructions at the back of the manual to warn users not to use the camera in rainy days, smog, freezing weather or explosive air.
How to clean the lens
Most digital cameras cannot be equipped with protective filters, or they are very inconvenient to install. Usually when shooting, the lens is exposed. If you are not careful, it is easy to get a little dust, press a handprint or leave some spit. Although fingerprints, dust and water stains on the lens surface have little effect on imaging. As long as you don't let the strong sunlight shine directly on the lens and cause fog. But you love cameras, how can you tolerate your beloved camera lens turning into a big face? What if it's not clean? Shit!
Nowadays, lenses are generally multilayer coated. If you are not careful, you will scratch the coating and scratch the lens. Irretrievable damage to the lens. Should I wipe it or not? My experience is that the lens is always getting worse, not better. Don't expect the lens to return to a new look just after it leaves the factory. Therefore, we suggest not to wipe the lens as a last resort. You have to prepare some tools before cleaning. Conventional weapons include lens water, lens paper (or wet lens paper), lens cloth (or suede), blowing balloons and absorbent cotton. Ok, let's get started.
Blow off the dust with a balloon first, and carefully remove what can't be blown off with lens paper. Be careful not to use force. Dip a little absorbent cotton into the lens water to get wet? ⌒トトトト?????? How was the beach? What's your attitude? Yes 1. Screen page research pa: huh? Hint source Zhu Biao? Awkward?
First, prepare a number of smaller cotton balls (or wet lens paper) and press them into cakes, the size of which is one third of the mirror surface. Prepare several large cotton balls and press them into cakes. The size should be two-thirds to three-quarters of the mirror. Try not to expose cotton fibers on the working face. Dip a small cotton ball into the lens water and do it well. Wipe the mirror spirally from the center, and don't look back. Then, when the lens water is still wet, gently wipe the mirror with a big cotton ball in the same way. If the first time you are not satisfied, you can do it again, but don't use the used cotton ball again. Be careful not to let the lens water directly contact the lens surface, and use lens paper, otherwise the coating of the lens may be damaged or the lens water may penetrate into the lens along the edge of the lens, resulting in fogging or even degumming of the lens.
What if there is no lens water? It doesn't matter, you can use the lens face breathing instead. But be careful: don't pout when breathing. You should open your mouth wide and breathe gently so that you won't throw up. All we have to do is create a mist on the lens surface. If the lens is plastic, it is best not to wash the lens with lens water or a mixture of alcohol and ether. Be sure to wipe it clean or breathe. However, no matter how carefully you rub it, it will always damage the mirror coating, so don't wipe the lens unless you have to.
Digital camera manufacturers very much hope that users can use digital cameras in an ideal environment, not too hot, not too cold, and not to fall on hard surfaces. But unfortunately, beautiful photos are often not taken at these times. This article is about how to protect your camera while taking wonderful photos.
How to maintain the camera
Take a spare battery and a digital memory card with you before going out for a holiday or a walk, because you may meet an excellent shooting opportunity at some point. It is a bad habit to leave spare batteries at home or lock them in the car. Many photographers bought a keychain clip, put a memory card in it, and then tied it to the camera belt. Digital cameras can take pictures with film and fully charged batteries, but in addition, they need maintenance, and there are various forms of maintenance.
Put the camera in the bag.
First of all, you need a sturdy and easy-to-use camera bag to hold the camera, digital memory card and battery kit. More extravagant, you need an auxiliary lens or a small portable tripod. Leading camera bag manufacturers such as Tamrac, Lowepro and Domke use high-quality raw materials, better shock resistance and excellent watchbands and metal hardware. These devices have been reduced in size and are more suitable for placing digital cameras.
If you want to buy a new camera bag, you'd better find a bigger one. If you buy a camera bag and take everything out every time you take something, you won't like it, because it will miss many good shooting opportunities, which is very annoying. When buying a camera bag, you'd better bring your camera and accessories to see which camera bag suits you best.
How to carry a satchel is also very particular. Adjust the strap on the camera bag. Don't let the camera be too far away from your body, or it will bounce off your body and hit others or other objects. Ideally, the camera bag should be hung higher, which can protect your arm from collision and thieves. At the same time, it should be noted that the lens facing inward (towards your body) can also play a protective role when carrying the camera.
Keep the camera clean
Stains on the lens will seriously reduce the image quality, appear spots or weaken the image contrast. Fingers touching the lens is inevitable, and dust and gravel will also fall on the optical devices.
That's why we need to clean the camera. Cleaning tools are simple: lens paper or fine tools with fiber cloth, lens brush, cleaning suit. Never use cardboard, paper towels or napkins to clean the lens. These products all contain scratched wood pulp, which will seriously damage the fragile coating on the camera lens.
When cleaning paper is not used, put the microfiber cleaning cloth into the original container to keep it clean. Microfiber cloth is very washable and can be washed with clothes regularly. Try not to use cotton T-shirts or other fibers, because coarse gravel may seep in. If you use a brush to clean the dust and debris on the lens, do not touch the hair on the brush with your hands or fingers. The oil on your skin will infect your hair and then stick to the lens.
Another way to clean the dust on the lens is to use the lens frequently. If your camera has a lens cover, you can fix it on the camera body with a belt, a rubber band or a "lens fixing" device.
Hot and cold weather can also affect the camera. If the camera was originally placed in an air-conditioned room and then immediately placed in a hot and humid environment, fog spots would appear on the lens and viewfinder. At this time, it is necessary to clean it with a suitable paper towel or cloth. If you bring the camera into the room from the cold and dry outdoor, you'd better put it in your bag to preheat it, and then take it out and put it in the house. And carefully hold the camera to see if it is "sweating". If you sweat, take immediate action.
A suggestion from a professional photographer is simple, and you may not believe it: take a plastic zipper lock bag with you. In very humid or dusty climate, you can dig a small hole just enough to put the camera lens on the side, and then put the camera in a bag to prevent fog, moisture and dust from entering the camera, which will prolong the service life of the camera. Finally, don't put the camera in the back seat of a car with high humidity. The car is like a stove, which will deform the plastic and damage the wires.
Many manufacturers will suggest that if you don't use the camera for more than two weeks, you'd better take it out, because the battery will leak and rot, sometimes affecting the circuit connection, making the camera unable to work normally.
